Last year, DC actually turned down a series based off the Burton Bat-films:cry:

Wouldn't have been interested at all.

The Ivy concept looks good, though. The hood is a cool touch.

as a huge fan of the Burton movies I would have loved to see this happen.

With Billy Dee as Dent and Two-Face.
Bold.

Would have liked to see this. Ah, well.

Anybody know if Robin might have been modeled after anyone in particular? I know Marlon Wayans was supposed to play the character, but it doesn't exactly look like him.

Never seeing Billy Dee as Two Face is one of the biggest tragedies known to man.

Just Billy Dee as Two-Face should have warranted a ongoing series, damn that artwork is nice.

I really liked the first movie as a kid. The other films were sorta 'meh' to me, but they did have their moments.

Even though I'm not a huge DC fan, I would have liked to see this idea happen.

Wow. A very missed opportunity for DC.

Would've subscribed to this and it's a wasted opportunity for dc

i subscribed to Batman 66.
it was really good at first but went south fast, and became just another Batman title in an already flooded market.

i can see this being good for 3-6 issues depending if this is actually what the interior art looked like and not just cover art?

still though, i'd rather have had an actual Tim Burton sequel than just a "what if it had never ended" comic series. they tend to run out of workable material fast!

Good and fun idea shot down by DC?
Why I am not surprised...*sigh*

It's like they hate fun stuff.

They don't hate fun... they've given us Lobdell's "Red Hood & the Outlaws" and Nocenti's "Catwoman!" :trazz:

wouldn't they have to get permission from all the actors for use of their likenesses?

Agree 100% on every word.

And you said we don't agree on anything.:P

We agree on like 50% of what we discuss. :tlol:

Daredevil, IDW TMNT, 50% Batman preferences... :twink:
