Welcome! Definitely check out the original comics. They're not all good but the ones that are worth reading are some of the best!

I was thinking about geting the old comics but i hear thatall the turtles wear red maybe a stupid reason for not reading it i am just used to the turtles wearing color
And does the first vol of the comic cost alot of money i was looking at the first vol of superman and it was like 10.000 i hope it does not cost that:o

Most of the time they're in black and white, so it really wouldn't matter with the end. I've only read a few of them, struggling with art style itself and difficulty reading the text in the earliest issues.

and difficulty reading the text in the earliest issues.

That's the first time I've heard that, ever.

That's the first time I've heard that, ever.

I can read it pretty easily now, but it's another story when there's a long block of text, so the tracking and kerning have to be placed close together.

It's not something I can complain about at this point, though. I think I even had trouble reading the first few chapters/issues of Bone when I first picked it up in 2009, because even then Jeff Smith had to go handwritten.

...
I just made it very obvious I was born in the 90s.
