Not sure if this has been a thread before. What has been your favorite parody show within the show?

I voted for super robo mecha force 5 because it was funny. I liked it when the guy asked the lady out and how she reacted.

2 Ruff Crew cracks me up

I went with Crognard. If only because I would watch it in a heartbeat if it were real. But that's why we have HeMan.

The Chris Bradford Show is second. Do it for the honeynuts!

Chuck Noris Karate Kom-I mean Chris Bradford's 2 Ruff Krew! :tanime:

I picked Space Heroes. The main reason is probably because it was the first and it was funny watching Leo get really into it while Raph made fun of it. I really love them all. Super Robo Mecha Force Five! was my least favourite. I wasn't familiar with the show that it was parodying so I didn't find it as funny. I loved Crognard because I loved the references to He-Man and how it just made fun of the character. I never saw what the current show is based on but it's a show about Chris Bradford based on Chuck Norris so it's familiar territory. I always look forward to the new parody show when a new season starts. It's actually one of my favourite things in the show :).

They're all hilarious in their own ways. I went with Space Heroes since I adore satirical parodies ("We only have one humane option left... open the air locks!")

I can't make up my mind! Should I go with the one that had the most accurate foreshadowings?

I went with Crognard, simply because I remember being a fan of He-Man back in the day.

Captain Ryan is to 2012 Leo as 2003 Leo is to 11 year old me.

So Space Heroes.

I'd say either Space Heroes or Mega Force had the most foreshadowings

So Space Heroes.
Make it the '87 series and I have a very similar answer. :D

Coming across 2012 and seeing my fave Turtle having become like me watching his first series as a kid... :tlove: Gotta go with Space Heroes for adding "adorkable" to his personality traits.

1. This is an inspired poll. Well done!

2. Space Heroes all the way

Space Heroes all the way. I literally could not stand Crognard... 2 Ruff Crew is bearable just because I miss Bradford's regular voice. Was pretty 'meh' about Super Robo Mecha Force 5 - I liked it because all the turtles were obsessed together but I was still pretty salty that it replaced Space Heroes

It's difficult to choose. I liked all of them, as they were funny. Loved Space Heroes and the whole Filmation style of animation...as that's what it was parodying anyway (Fimlation's Star Trek). I dunno. I think I'll choose the recent show. The nice Chunck Norris Karate Kommandoss + Mr. T (imo) knock off! lolI went with Crognard, simply because I remember being a fan of He-Man back in the day.But isn't Crognard just a hybrid of the HeMan cartoon and Thundaar the Barbarian?

Like them all, but I LOVE the straight up insanity of Chris Brafdford's 2 Ruff Krew.

Space Heroes is what has stayed and worked throughout the series

Not really into any of them (though I do love the idea of a show within a show that the turtles love) but I like Super Robo Mecha Force Five! most of all. My anime bias, I guess.

I'd say either Space Heroes or Mega Force had the most foreshadowings

I still have to give props to Crognard for how it foreshadowed the end of "Annihilation Earth" very successfully (in the preceding episode nonetheless) and everyone's reactions to it! :D
I also liked how Mikey pointed out that they are reminiscent of their missions yet I also found it strange that Leo dismissed it when that wasn't the case in "Panic in the Sewers".

True.

Captain Ryan: We'll need backup. You two in the shirts! You're coming with us.

A moment later

Crankshaw: Rodriguez! And...that other guy! They're gone!
Captain Ryan: Well, that's why we bring them along.

Those were good times.

Grew up watching a lot of 70s Super Robot shows!

Space Heroes was alright, just kind of annoying
I liked SRMF5, IDK why
Crognard was good, but the metal spikes and Crognard bending them with his chest were... weird...
I hate Chris Bradford and his 2 ruff crew
I'm going with SMRF5

Chris Bradford's show cracks me up every time :D although I did love Space Heroes too cause it's pretty much what Star Trek the animated series was lol

I may lean to Space Heroes mostly b/c of all the hilarious slapping--though Mecha Force probably has the funniest--and the (morally) questionable things they did.

"You two in the shirts!"

gotta love it!!! :lol:That was funny. Too bad they died and they couldn't even say their names.

You know, if I were ranking these shows, I think Space Heroes would top it for the stuff already mentioned, but I wanted to pick something else that I knew wouldn't have many votes. lol Anyway, here's how I'd rank these....

Space Heroes
Chuck Norris show
Robo mech show
Crognard

Space Heroes all the way.

I don't even know much about Conan the barbarian(?), super monkey force hyper team go, or even A Team (? Which I think Chris Bradford is alluded to).

I think Chris's show is a reference to the Mr. T cartoon

Personally I think Space Heroes is the best because not only was it a source of humour but it helped flesh out Leo as a character and made him more interesting and more three dimensional.

None of the other shows have really had that effect on the characters.

Which I think Chris Bradford is alluded to).It was Thundaar the Barbarian The Chris Bradford show feels like a mix of Chuck Norris Karate Kommandos and the Mr. T cartoon. I personally used to love watching the Mr. T cartoon. ^^
