Best known as Wilbur, the owner of talking horse Mr. Ed of the 1960s' CBS sitcom has died at the age of 96 of natural causes.

96 years & he was everywhere acting/voice-acting world all the way to the end, got a lot to be proud of, for his family and fans, RIP Alan Young.

It's odd this happened, because we were jyst discussing his age not too long ago in the Ducktales reboot thread. Sad news indeed.

I hope when he ascends, he gets to dive into a pool of money. :cry: Regardless, rest peacefully Alan, you brought many childhoods to life.

SO sad! Scrooge McDuck is my absolute favorite character of ALL TIME in ANY form of entertainment and Alan Young just PERFECTLY gave voice to him. RIP. Scrooge will never be the same. I'm an absolute die hard Ducktales fan.
