Which TMNT action figure line had the best Shredder figure? Variants and repaints do not count, but do comment on what's your personal favorite, including all possible versions.

My pick is the 2003 Shredder, and personal favorite is 2003 Armorized Shredder. I like removable helmets.

Voted for the 4kids one, but specifically it's "Armorized Shredder" whose armor/helmet was removable and partially vac-metalized.

It's really beautiful and shiny to behold, I'm fortunate to have this.

After repainting the 2014 Movie Shredder, it became my favorite.

The one I made:

There hasn't been a truly great mass-produced Shredder yet. The upcoming NECA version looks like the best so far.

I agree with Powder. That's my favorite version as well.

That's from Secret of the Ooze, not the cartoon series.

Yes, but it's from the 1988 toy line.

Oddly enough my favorite was Road Ready Shredder. Once you remove the bulky mutating cape and replace it with a cloth one, you get probably the most posable Shredder at the time...though with no blades...

No Nick Shredder 2.0 ?

Only the first basic Shredder of each line goes in to the poll.

I also personally like the Slice n' Dice Shredder from 1990, because I think that should have been the look for the normal version too. The original might even be my least favorite, because there's almost no poseability.

I like the Toon Shredder best.

I liked the way Slice N Dice Shredder looked, but Super Shredder was always a close second.

I'm partial to Super Shredder. I loved that figure ... he was just too small.

You're right. Slice N Dice Shredder looked "toonish", far more than the 1988 one. That was important to me sometime... But I had no chance to get one at that time.

This thread is just making me sad that there are virtually no great Shredder figures. When I was a kid, Super Shredder became my default Shredder for play, going along with my Movie Star Turtles. I guess I'll vote for him.

I will say this, the second Nick Shredder is pretty damned good, but the body's natural pose is really wonky. Not as bad as the original '88 Shredder, but still bad.

I voted Nick. The one I like is my SDCC . It fm has s lit if presence. The 2003 Shredder was my runner up. I was not sure which to choose, and had to take a few minutes to decide. The 2003 is very cool , but Nick won out in meanness : that one dies look mean.
