Do you feel he should be recast in the next Turtles movie? Or get a new Technodrome?

Krang should be black.

How do you know he isn't?

Can't we like, you know, not have Krang at all? Things would be a lot less annoying without him.

I liked Krang, even though the new voice took getting used to.

Krang is here to stay. :)

Krang is Krang, if the filmakers have use for him in a future story, they can use Pat Fraley, or get another sound-alike. They did a good job with him already, but a new take would be interesting.

You just keep telling yourself that.

Krang has become an accepted part of the lore to the younger TMNT fans, thanks to Nick's the Krang, and to the older fans through IDW. I really don't think the character is going anywhere anytime soon. Same deal with Rocksteady and Bebop.

I'm talking about this version of Krang in the movie, not in general. I highly doubt that there will be a third movie.

Krang solo film. Pat Fraley voices. It's a romantic comedy.

^^^ This. It's the same nonsense Andrew, especially because the Will Smith thread sealed the deal. We can rant all day, but at the end of the day these films aren't worth contaminating the sewers thrown in.

Fred Armisen's voice is closer to Pat Fraley's Krang voice. The original casting was very good. The deep baratones of Brad Garrett. No offense against Brad, but his voice is too deep and not the voice expected of Krang.

I think it might be.
I mean, I haven't seen the second movie, but that's entirely due to the current Krang.

Possibly.

I wonder if it was due to his size. This OOTS Krang is f-ing huge compared to the OT or Nick versions; he looks about three to four feet wide. Maybe they thought a squeaky little voice would look wrong coming out of his giant face? I don't think it would, but I'm trying to figure out why they did it.

I'm open to a new Krang. I think the current one should be replaced.

Krang should be played by Eugene Levy.

It's time to resurrect Orson Welles so he can voice Krang.

"You know what I did this morning? I played the voice of a toy. Some terrible robot toys from Japan that changed from one thing to another. The Japanese have funded a full-length animated cartoon about the doings of these toys, which is all bad outer-space stuff. I play a planet. I menace somebody called Something-or-other. Then I'm destroyed. My plan to destroy Whoever-it-is is thwarted and I tear myself apart on the screen." - Orson Welles

Perfect!

Krang was alright just his voice needs a change. Personality wise he was an okay brain. Not as good as Fraley but better as nothing. So no, no new Krang but a new voice for him!
