View Full Version : Party Wagon Confusion

Does anyone else have a party wagon with no date stamp on the underneath portion. I recently watched a YouTube video and seen the date stamps for the 1989 original and 2009 reissue. I currently have one with no mark at all.

The door does say 1989 because I took it off a 1989 party wagon with matching underneath date. The one I took the door from had the mark underneath but was missing other parts so I sold it and kept the door for the current one I have. If the video is correct my stickers also match the 1989 version but are in spectacular condition compared to the video example.

Could I have a reissue body from 2009 or 2013 with vintage stickers and door from 1989? Frankenstein version I suppose. So Confused by the no date on the bottom side. Thanks for assistance. Oh, does the 2013 release have dated bottom piece as the 89 and 09 does?

The video I watched is linked below.

I have one as well. Both my original and the classics line have dates. Are they the 25th anniv. Release maybe?

What year do you think yours is?

Interesting. So I've confirmed dates being on 1989 and 2009 but not for 2013 yet. But question is now did some of the 89 and 09 not get dated and do all 2013 have no dates?

The lower part of the wagon door says 1989 on the inside on my turtle van.

Yeah mine too but I removed it from a second one with matching years. Meow does yours also have a 1989 year on the yellow near the wheels or anyplace underneath? Mine does not. Wondering if some 89's didn't s get year stamps in that location or I have a Frankenwagon. Maybe with like the 2013 body, 89 stickers, 09 mirrors.

My friend's one is from 1989, that's when his dad got it.

So original owner without the date. That's good to know. Alright thanks. So sounds like 1989 version did have some models without dated yellow underneath. Also sounds like some of the 2013 releases don't have dates. So far all 25th anniversaries do have them though. And not sure if any 2013s got date marked.

Neither does mine. Although that's where I paid close attention to when I went for the imprint first I went for a second check right now and nope, nowhere to be found. It's a 1989's original by the way

Alright, thanks. I think I have got most of my answers now.
