I have been watching Fast Forward recently, and yesterday I watched The Gaminator, where Viral abducts the turtles' consciousness' into the digital world. During the course of the episode she makes several references to her "master", Sh'Okanabo. It occurred to me at one point while watching, that really, she didn't have to be dependent on him. She is a digital program that has already proven that she can go anywhere and do anything with very little effort or being reined in. So why submit to someone like Sh'Okanabo? She could disappear into a computer system on a spaceship headed for the far reaches of the galaxy, and never have to worry about Sh'Okanabo again. I feel that she is different to other sidekicks who submit to their abusive masters because she has no real physical form. She can come and go as she pleases. So what has she to be afraid of?

Well it's 2105 and earth technology is super advanced. Maybe Sho'kanabo can delete her as a virus anytime he wants. And when she got damaged in her first episode, Sho'kanabo told her to consider it punishment and he could probably do the same thing to her too.

But I imagine she has some kinda "dom" thing going on. OR they wanted to make her look weak compared to one of the season's main antagonists, and when she finally gets her chance to be one in Season 7, she's offed in the first episode by a male counterpart that's also yet another Shredder.

I will say, I thought her character had a lot of potential to be unique and different, but she ended up being generic through-out and wasted in the final season for an almost sexist reason. (Yeah. "Sexist." I'm throwing that out there.)

Viral and Sh'okanabo are actually what Darius did to Cody's parents [citation needed]
