This came out yesterday and in my opinion is worth picking up just for the wild backup story by Caleb Goellner & Buster Moody. Goellner spins a fun yarn, and it might not be everyone's cup o' TMNTea, but I absolutely love Moody's gritty inkwork. Here's a vid he posted of one of my favorite spreads from the book: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Co2D3qnb7nI King of the Crosshatch! And I think it's been linked on the drome somewhere before, but for those that missed it, here's an awesome TMNT fan comic this dynamic duo made years back: http://bustermoody.blogspot.com/2013/07/tmnt-fan-comic.html

I still think the only major improvement Amazing Adventures has made over the New Animated Adventures is its outsourcing of awesome indie artists for the backup stories. Since they didn't quite go the TMNTA route many of us were hoping for with an ongoing narrative that branches away from the show, I feel like the next best thing would be a book compromised solely of multiple shorts by various non-traditional artists. Sounds like this 2-part story might be the swan song of AA though. At least it seems promising.

I really loved the art in the back-up. Any punk rock person would love it. Especially the way he drew Shredder even.

I liked the main story, Thomas killed it. Donnie and The Drip were cute together, too bad he turned out to be a little sh*t.

The back up was silly, but amazing. Some of the coolest TMNT art ever.
