Hello Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle fans!

I have something that you all should enjoy while you wait for Sunday's new episode! If your a fan Nickelodeon's 3d TMNT models and you've always wished to have them in your possession, now the day has come where you can edit, animate, and do whatever you want with the marvelous models using the 3d modeling program of your chose.

A clever DeviantArt user (TheBlueBlur1993) has extracted Nick's models from an IOS game called "TMNT: Rooftop Run." Head over to his page for the download link, or click HERE (http://theblueblur1993.deviantart.com/art/Nickelodeon-s-TMNT-2012-3D-Models-Rigged-627325954)!

If you wish to import these models into Blender or whatever 3d modeling program you use, you might have to convert them into an .OBJ file, or whatever file type your program requires. All credit goes to TheBlueBlur1993 for ripping the files, I'm just the messenger!

Here's an image showing how the designs look.

Hope you enjoy! Turtle power! :thyper:

That's nifty. I got the OotS models, but these could get handy as well.

Could these models replace the ones in the out of the shadows PC game to play as these turtles?

...

... Sure, if you do all the work to make a skin mod so that you can play them in OotS, although it would be a huge design clash between the more realistic OotS designs and the super cartoony Rooftop Turtles.

OotS is made with the Unreal engine, so you should be able to make custom skins if you know what you're doing.

Yeah being a mobile game these are super low qual even in comparison to the show, let alone OotS.

I asked because he was able to put the models in super smash bros and just would like to see these models added to the game if possible.

Yeah, how come nobody has bothered to rip the models from the Xbox 360 game instead?

Yeah, how come nobody has bothered to rip the models from the Xbox 360 game instead?I'm still hoping for that. I'd love to get some high quality models.

It would take different tools to accomplish. Plus if you're talkin' about the 2013 game those weren't exactly hi-res either....

From the comments the bloke's having a tough time getting even Legends rips because it's not made in Unity.

Hey hey, guys!

The animator, BlueBlur, is a good friend from mine; we've been working on the same project together - Sonic Misadventures - and I can safely say that he is not only an awesome animator, but an incredibly thoughtful friend.

When BlueBlur joined the Misadventures project, we both discovered that we were both very much into the current 2012 series. I do think it was in the Misadventures skype chatgroup that he first revealed that import image of the TMNT 2012 character models and I remember being so eccstatic about it!

It was then I asked him to do a favor for me, and I honestly didn't think he'd do it. I've always enjoyed Ninja Turtles from the 80s show, but I honestly only got into it through the 2k3 series. My favorite turtle has always been Leonardo and my kid dream was to be in a picture with Leonardo - even if it was a guy in a Leo costume. So I sent him a selfie and asked him to put him in there.

And this is what he did:

This guy worked hours on this, just to fulfill a silly dream of mine. He's a thoughtful, down-to-Earth kind of guy and extremely cool(right now, we're both geeking over the new TMNT2012 episode hahah). He deserves all the praise he's getting.

And also for my birthday, he made this, too:

As I've said before, awesome friend is awesome! :D

So if y'all wanna check out more of his works (aside from his deviantart page), you can also find him either here on twitter (https://twitter.com/TheBlueBlur13) or on his Youtube channel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC99P3JyNHjxGoKlqbdsNChw).

Also, FYI, he made these:

If you guys appreciate what he's done - as I do wholeheartedly - please check him out! He's definitely worth it. And who knows? Maybe he might make some more awesome renders... ;)

(He just told me that he's working on a new render; maybe showin' him some love could get him to hurry up hahah)

I spoke with him very briefly on Deviantart and yeah, he does seem like a pretty nice guy. Even though I wish there was a way to get higher quality models, I'm really happy he was willing to share these.
