You should specify that it's Japan only, making this thread relevant to a whopping... one user.

Japan gets all the cool stuff...

People who drizzle the ketchup like that should be considered sub-human.

Aw and I was hoping we had those here in the states. Ragumfragumgagum...

Man, I knew that looked too good to be in American McDonald's.

Yes, those are your classically delectably McDonald’s French fries — but this time drizzled with pumpkin sauce and chocolate sauce
*cringe*

I'd hoped it was just a pumpkin-ish desert thing that only looked like fries... not actual regular fries with chocolate and "pumpkin sauce." That does not sound appealing to me. Japan can keep this one.

Though I want to see a pic of how an order really looks when given to the customer.

I'm gonna assume they'll give you the chocolate on the side, right? So you can dip it?

This reminds me of an episode of 2 Broke Girls from a couple years back where they were trying to compete with the cro-nut (a croissant mixed with a doughnut) fad that was going on at the time.

Probably right.

The promo image makes it look special, but it may be that the place is just stocking chocolate and pumpkin dip choices beside the sweet & sour and ketchup packets. :trazz:

"Real food"

"McDonald's"

No comprende.

Not sure how wide-spread it is, but McDonald's in Northern California currently have Gilroy Garlic Fries. They're pretty good.

I would not try pumpkin chocolate fries...

In my experience with things being "pumpkin" flavored, aren't they usually just more sugar and cinnamon than actual "pumpkin"? Which in the end is a different squash entirely.

No surprise that this is in Japan, but I can understand the appeal for the mixture of salt, chocolate, and "pumpkin" sauce that would come on the hot fries. Don't think I'd enjoy it for very long.

No offense, but that is one of the most repellent combinations of food I've ever seen. Granted, I'm biased because I don't like pumpkin, but chocolate sauce on fries!? That is deranged.

Well...fries dipped in chocolate milkshakes work sometimes. Depending on where you get them. I think it's the salt on the fries mixing with the sweetness of the chocolate more than anything.

Yes, salted caramel is all the rage now, which is more or less the same concept. It's the potato that makes it wrong I think. So wrong.

Yeah, that is true. In my experience, the flavor tends to get lost among all the other flavors, and the texture is tolerable.

Well one of my favorite youtubers apparently made a video with them, he also tries this weird burger: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S7WdFdTazd4
He tries the fries at 2:30

lol @ this guy. Well. Those fries went over real big with him, didn't they. lol Thought so, regular fries with just a packet of that topping.

That burger doesn't sound too appetizing either...
