Has anyone tried the monthly subscription box at tmntbox.com?
I became opposed to similar sub boxes because I’d get stuck with stuff of Random characters I didn’t care about, which made them not worth the $$.- But this one is actually affordable and give the fact I’m ok getting just about anything TMNT, thought I’d give it a try.
I was wondering if anyone else had dipped their toe in that water and ifso, what to expect.

http://forums.thetechnodrome.com/showthread.php?t=52383 Have a look here.

I've watched some unboxings, seems like it's usually just a bunch of the same uninspired crap they sell in Wal-mart. Not exactly a rip-off considering you kinda get your money's worth on the t-shirt alone, but man, these things are pretty weak IMO.

Thanks man! I'd agree on the “fairly uninspired” part, I got that same vibe off the website.
For that same reason I even questioned if it might be a credit card scam,
just because I ran another collectible site recently that had deals that seemed too good
to be true (and were). Anyway, I suppose I’ll roll the dice on one month, but the info helps.
Thanks!

It's no scam. I was signed up for a year and received the boxes for twelve months. Once or twice they were extremely late (as in delivered well into the wrong month) But they did come through every month. But the items they send are nothing unique and generally ended up being stuff I had already purchased if it was anything I really liked.

Thanks, how many of the 12 months did you get a shirt?

I believe I got a shirt most of the months. But when it started and I first signed up, TMNTbox was $20 per month and came with more stuff. They dropped the price around April to the current $10 per month. And at that price, I don't think they'll get many shirts.

But if you want to see what the past boxes had:

July 2015 (http://www.tmnttoys.com/15others/julybox/review.html), August 2015 (http://www.tmnttoys.com/15others/augbox/review.html), September 2015 (http://www.tmnttoys.com/15others/septbox/review.html), October 2015 (http://www.tmnttoys.com/15others/octbox/review.html), November 2015 (http://www.tmnttoys.com/15others/novbox/review.html), December 2015 (http://www.tmnttoys.com/15others/decbox/review.html), January 2016 (http://www.tmnttoys.com/16others/janbox/review.html), February 2016 (http://www.tmnttoys.com/16others/febbox/review.html),

March 2016 (start of $10 boxes) (http://www.tmnttoys.com/16others/marchbox/review.html), April 2016 (http://www.tmnttoys.com/16others/aprilbox/review.html), May 2016 (http://www.tmnttoys.com/16others/maybox/review.html) and June 2016 (http://www.tmnttoys.com/16others/junebox/review.html)

Is that a Fast Forward logo on the t-shirt packaging for the December box?

Yes. The December boxes included a bonus package with a Fast Forward style shell print shirt and a few other items.
