Not much is known about this yet, but I'm sure it'll cover the rest of season 4 and contain 2 discs. Anyway, it comes out on December 13th.

Glad to see the DVDs continuing in proper order, unlike the mess the 2k3 DVDs became.

I still haven't bought any because I'm waiting for blu-ray sets, which I imagine will come out after the show ends.

You don't support TMNT. You're the reason it's being cancelled. I've pre-ordered every release.

Haha, blu rays. I'd eat my hat if that happens.

They're probably waiting till the end of the show to do blu-ray sets. Makes sense, release the show on DVD and online on places like itunes first....then make a second profit with blu-ray sets after.

The show is already in HD on the itunes releases, so its not like its unexpected.

Amen, but I doubt anyone expected entities like Viacom/Nick to drop the ball like 4kids did. :tlol:

I'm just glad I managed to get all of those sets for retail cost right before they all skyrocketed in value. Yikes!

Its hard to believe we even have all of Next Mutation on DVD, but we still don't have proper 4kids DVDs.

Unlikely. These season DVDs have come out in 3 volumes containing 7, 7, and 12 episodes each (in no order). The first one had 1-12. So expect episodes 13-19 ("Ever Burning Fire" to our last episode "Bat in the Belfry").

I knew I should've posted this one sooner! I was among the first to get an e-mail from TVShowsOnDVD.com; ah well, what's important is the next release is coming out, and just a day after I turn 36, which is nice.

Hmm, I figured they'd go with a "City at War" title for the release. Guess they want to squeeze every last bit of "Space-ness" out of the season!

And I used the VUDU code from the "Beyond the Known Universe" release, so I already got the "Earth's Last Stand" episode. :tcool:

With the first volume of the first season being 2 discs, it was looking like they've learned their lesson. So I hope you'd be wrong. I found one thing to show that might prove you right though. In the link below, it has an MSRP that's for the single-disc releases.

So now it looks like they might be doing things backwards.

I was thinking the same thing, though to be honest I kinda like having 4 discs per season divided by 3 releases. I know it's an odd way to do things, but it seems to work for them.

So this will have episodes from "The Ever-Burning Fire" to "Bat in the Belfry".

So yeah. Just one disc.

I was kinda hoping they'd add the 3 shorts that debuted at San Diego Comic Con.

I can see why it would be one disc as they probably want the last release to have two discs or one to finish out the season.

The last volume of the fourth season would only require one disc.

I also just realized that this volume won't be missing the episode that the previous version of the one exclusive to Walmart offered digitally.

Yes, that's true that they would only require one disc though as we have seen, the other seasons had the last volume be two discs. Doesn't really matter to me though.

Amazon had the pre-order for $14.99 but it just dropped to $9.99

The Beyond the Known Universe DVD was missing two episodes of the space arc; "The Ever Burning Fire" and "Earth's Last Stand" (the final two, probably because the two disc sets have 12 shows, but the story laster 14 episodes).

Kind of funny that they'd still use the space theme, when the "City at War" arc seems to be the big thing of these episodes, but at least the cover art looks nice?

Why are we assuming that this'll only have 6 shows? It could, but is it possible that this season will be divided into two sets instead of 3?

Intersting: two disc sets tend to be closer to $15, but one disc set have been closer to $10.

according to the wiki page there will be 7 more episodes after 'Bat in the Belfry', so i'm guessing we'll see another single disc release for the remainder episodes?

so instead of their usual (1 disc) (1 disc) (2 disc) season release formula, they've reversed it for this season.

You gotta watch making that promise. I did when everyone was saying hank henshaw would be martian manhunter and not cyborg superman on supergirl and had to back out.
