Title says it all so what artist do you want to see draw an issue of TMNT, me personally I prefer a little stylization myself so I would want to see James Stokoe,Tradd Moore(yeah I know he did the character designs for the Nick TMNT but I want to see his style in comic form) and maybe some Rob Guillort or Fiona Staples

After seeing Paolo Rivera's stunning Michelangelo cover for the Hero Initiative, I'd love to see an entire one-off issue painted by him!

Got a source on that? I know of several people who may had influence on their designs (with Ciro being the top cat) & his name has never come up. In fact, after 10 minutes of Google-Fu, the only connection he seems to have to TMNT is a drawing of Raph & another of Mondo, both from 2011, neither of which bearing any resemblance to the Nick series.

Eric Talbot. I Know we got an early Mirage issue from him, plus a short or two, but his art has changed so much since then.

I know he won't have time but I'd love to see an issue done by David Petersen, not just the covers.

I don't know if you guys have seen his work, but I just love his art style.

His notable works have been Proof, Green Wake, Bedlam and Drumhellar along with multiple guest appearance stuff and covers.

or Matteo Scalera

Or the previously mentioned Rob Guillory (I've got a few TMNT sketches from him, and they're great as is his variant cover from one of the earlier IDW issues) or Fiona Staples...

Whoops made a mistake turns out it was Felipe Smith who was the character designer for Nick's TMNT

Here are mine...I would want to see a lot of Mirage artists on IDW stuff, but here are my absolute must haves (including a Mirager).

- Eric Talbot: Seriousy his SH&* is so damn cool. I have no clue why IDW doesn't reach out to him to do an issue or two

-Simon Bisley: A Batman, TMNT, Judge Dredd issue and my head would explode

-Jae Lee: I woud like to see his take on them

-Sam Kieth: Imagine his April. You know how great that issue would look?

James Stokoe

yupyupyup. Now that you said it I can't get it out of my head. Stokoe's work blows me away. Probably my favorite artist on the stands today. If he stuck his grimy gronch into TMNT I'd be a happy turtle, and with his recent work on IDW's Godzilla maybe it's not such a farfetched idea? Bobby you readin' this?? Let's get a variant cover at the least!

Carlos D'Anda

Denys Cowan

i'd also really love to see Richard Corben, Freddie Williams, Zach Howard, and Simon Bisley have another go at drawing the Ninja Turtles.

I wouldn't mind seeing Patrick Spaziante doing some covers. I even liked a good deal of Steven Butler's art, and I think that he could pull it off too.

A Todd McFarlane TMNT cover could be interesting to see as well.

An honorable mention can go to Todd Lockwood and Brom. Even though they both are painters, it would be awesome if if they could / would do some TMNT cover work.

I don't know about that, I don't ever want to see that pug faced koala thing he thinks Splinter should look like again...

His drawing of Splinter evolved after TMNTA. For example:

i still really wanna see Freddie Williams draw a full Ninja Turtle story!

not that i have anything against him doing another cross-over , but i'd love to see what he could do with Tom Waltz and Co. writing. :)

i was actually just kidding about the grizzly shark cross-over! i'd never wanna see Tmnt cross-over with that!
besides, it'd be TOO similar to the Shredder-Shark from 'Tales of...' Vol. 2
and that already gave me enough nightmares as it WAS

but a Tmnt/Spidey cross-over would be pretty DOPE!!! :D

Honestly a TMNT/Daredevil crossover would be a match made in heaven I always wanted to see the Turtles go toe to toe with Bullseye

the only way i'd personally want to see this would be if it was done in a classic early Mirage style of art.

i know i'm just being fussy, but it just seems really apppropreiate to me! :D

Honestly I could see the IDW gang hanging out with Daredevil and defending Hells Kitchen or maybe we can get some GOTG crossover

Also I want to see them work with Moon Knight or other street level heroes

no doubt they'd do a great job of it.
but over time it feels like the characters have evolved so much from their original inspiration. (comparing early Mirage to Frank Miller's Daredevil)
even the feel of the panel layouts and use of bold lines for the shadows.
it's just really wonderful to observe the nuances between the artists and their original inspiration.

i'm not even sure if i'm making sense? i'm probably just rambling at this point?
