Scarred for life? How ruined is your Halloween if you happen to meet this monstrosity at your doorstep?

They actually did a pretty good job with that costume. I would have gone with Leo as he was the best looking.

If kids got organized, people in PD TMNT costumes lurking in woods trying to lure children could be even bigger than the creepy clowns.

I was kinda kinda dreading what your comment would be, but I really got a kick out of this idea. Kudos, man!

It's not too late, Jeph. Forgive him and the bromance can be reignited.

That's one of the better self-made BayTurtle costumes I've seen. I was going to say it would depend on the Turtle, and I'm sure that still holds true in most cases (unless it's homemade by someone who just shouldn't), but that one isn't so bad compared to other images that have already traumatized me of both homemade and store bought costumes, so I think I'd survive that one okay. The OotS store bought costumes look better than those for the first film. Reusing the first should be illegal.

Nah, don't lurk in the woods... lol While that would be HIGHLY effective, esp the first masks, we don't need to induce a fan age gap by traumatizing six-year-olds to anything Turtles. :tlol:

You're spot on, and the more I think about it, the more I realize that Bayturtles would've been very effective in the horror movie genre. Maybe a little too effective.

This thread has been confusing me all day until I realized it has nothing to do with famous BayTurtles basher TrickOrTreater.

But yeah, no candy for that kid.

quality (or monstrosity in this case) > quantity

You're right, these masks would be more fitting.

The trauma, it is real.

Eesh, that Leo mask image is big enough to print out and make a freebie. :tlol: But I wouldn't want to do that to my baby Turtle...he and his brothers need to show up in our universe and sue for defamation. I mean, egads. (The film designs may be questionable, but those masks were a seriously lousy attempt.)

If you see them on the street, just walk away. That Mikey would give you fun sized Snickers with razor blades (and act like Mikey merged with Dave the Dream Beaver), and that Leo prob keeps a pair of rusty saw tooth machetes in their windowless van.

It doesn't help that the guy wearing the mask stares intently at us, either of horror of intent to kill...

God, that is f*cked. I really don't want to know whether those bloodshot eyes are real or something done in Photoshop. Either way, someone should have looked at that and said, 'You know, that may not be the right look, the right vibe, for a ninja turtles costume. Maybe we should try something out that doesn't look like the embodiment of rape.'

The Mikey mask is slightly less an assault to the eyes but still creepy. Look at that face. That is the face of a crazy old farmer jumping out of a cornfield with a pitchfork to chase kids walking down the street.
