This is on sale at best buy for 50.00 this week.

I've never owned these, and haven't even watched anything past season 5 or 6. I've read through searched results what people have said, and with this being out for 4 years now I thought they had sold it out?

Basically this is the "complete" run of OT stuff right? And are the episodes out of order still on this? Or is this the same thing from 2012? You'd think they'd fix that.

What other problems are there with this set other than episodes being out of order? How many are?

Thanks!

It's the same old discs but in a new package, is a great deal because I pretty much paid that much for only season 4, of course that was ten years ago. Yeah the episodes are out of order but it's only a few not that big of a deal, the quality isn't perfect but it's the best quality we have. I personally like the show and recommend it, the episode count is above 150 i think.

Close to 200 episodes. Some episodes are repeated and some are out of order, but still a great way to have it all. I bought them all individually so I probably over paid.

How are some episodes repeated?

Are the episodes in screwed up order in the guide or on the acutal discs too?

Some of the sets, when released individually, had the 1st episode of the next set on them as well. As for them being out of order on the discs, I can't remember for sure, as there are several different orders out there. I know that Planet Of the Turtleoids and Once Upon a Time Machine were all but left off until they were added as bonus features on the Season 10 disc.

The only eps out of order are the 13 European Vacation eps (they take place during Season 4 but are on the Season 7 discs), and the two Season 5 eps Jester mentioned.

Besides that there aren't any other problems, most of the original cartoon was made to be watched in almost any order anyway.

It's worth owning if you like the series, I'll say that much.

It looks liek this is the top of the line for now.

I'll be getting this then. 50.00 for it seems like a very very good deal, especially since I don't have any other releases from the OT and I've not seen some of these eposides in almost 20 years.

$50 is a steal for nearly 200 episodes.

So this arrived today, 50 bucks man!

Love it! The packaging is fantastic. My manufacturing date is March 2016 on the bottom of the box, interesting how the order is messed up in the booklet.

Watching disc 1 now.

Are the episodes actually out of order on the discs too? Or are they just out of order in the booklet?

And are the episodes correct as far as what # they are listed as at least?

The Season 1 disc has some Season 10 bonus eps there, obviously don't watch those yet.

Overall the DVDs are in pretty decent order for the most part. The European Vacation eps which take place during Season 4 are on the Season 7 discs though, since that's when they aired in America.

Some of the DVDs (particularly seasons 4-7) don't have the episodes in the EXACT order as shown in the book but the discs are correct. Ex. Night of the Dark Turtle is the first episode listed on Disc 19 but not the first accessible from the DVD Menu.

On another note, how does everyone store their booklets? I'm surprised mine isn't destroyed yet.
