Hi! So happy my account was finally approved recently! I was waiting quite awhile!

I've been collecting TMNT in a sense since the 80s but most of my childhood stuff was sold or lost along the way. I missed out on the 2003 series due to college and other concerns. The Nick series kickstarted me up again on basic figure collecting and I've been re-acquiring and backfilling every incarnation ever since. What a crazy year 2016 has been! Have bought everything from child play mats to tumblers to build-your-own-fleece-blankets this year!

My favorite thing to collect ATM is Mega Bloks / Construx. Waiting on all these sweet 1:6 products to land, too!

Anybody know if there's a way to expedite account approval? Another collector and buddy of mine told me today that he's been waiting for approval probably longer than me and was skipped over in the wave I was just part of. Wondering if I could talk to anybody on his behalf?

Anyway, the answer to your question is likely no. There is only one person who does the member approvals, that's Krang, the site owner, & they are not around very much anymore for whatever reason. Additionally & unfortunately, the approval process has almost halted entirely due to heavy abuse. Among other things, there are certain banned users who keep coming back with different names, IP addresses, etc at such an alarming rate that virtually every potential new user must be viewed through a very critical lens, making it hard for our community to grow over the last year or so.

You could try to send Krang a PM & vouch for your friend, but I dunno that it would work.
