You have likely heard his voice introducing a film on TCM over the last 23 or so years. No cause of death is given at this time nor if it was expected. Robert was 84. While perhaps not the most noteworthy of actors he learned from the best and had a vast knowledge. I was wondering why he hasn't shown up on the network of late perhaps he has been ill. I will remember his voice along others like Paul Harvey and appreciate what he gave us.

2017 just doesn't quit. Goddamn it 2017. It's like every few days there's another death. When does it end?

December 31st,2017. Okay, you opened youslef to that one. It is a part of life and unfortunately due to the time an overwhelming number of iconic people are from the golden age of pop culture are 80s' plus and are closer to the grave.

R.I.P. Robert and thanks for being a knowledgeable friendly guy I can welcome in my home on television.

Everything beautiful bleeds, Cubed. All that is precious must die. Time is the fire in which we burn.

I know you were not directing to me,but last month I remember having a conversation with my father noticing his absence as both of us check to see what is starting up each weekend and appreciate his commentary to see if the movie is of my interest. I was introduced to two of my favorite movies by Robert. In 2007 I stumbled upon his introduction of It's A Mad, Mad, Mad World and two years later North By Northwest. It was his commentary on the films that mad me watch it and look into the cast and such as the movies began respectively.
