Shia LaBeouf’s new film is a flop and a half in the UK. TMZ reports that Man Down, in which the actor plays a war veteran suffering from PTSD after a tour in Afghanistan, sold only one ticket in its first weekend in the UK. The indie film’s sole attendee in the country was in a Burnley, England theater and gave the film an $8.70 gross in the UK over the weekend.

The film has been panned by critics with a mere 15% on Rotten Tomatoes, but has done better in the US with $454,490 in its first month through a limited run. Dito Montiel (Fighting) wrote and directed the film, which also stars Kate Mara, Jai Courtney, Gary Oldman and Clifton Collins, Jr. LaBeouf has received praise for his work in the role, with the Observer in the UK saying, “Shia LaBeouf delivers a superb performance in a film that is otherwise misjudged on almost every level.”
