Hey Guys,

I am Michael from Germany. We had a little Turtles Toy Collection Group.

And we asking about for years a really god question about the Vintage Hero Turtles made by Bandai.

Nobody in the Turtles Collectors world can answer it, maybe you guys can help us with this old old secret and help out. That would be absolutely awesome.

Here is my question:
These are the Hero Turtles made by Bandai

Hero Euro-Turtles-List
- Super Shredder
- Tokka
- Rahzar
- Tattoo the Sumo
- Soccer Raphael
- Football Leo
- Eishockey Leo
- Slam Dunkin Don
- Heavy Metal Raph
- Rappin Mike

So why especially this 12 Figures had blue weapons?

This secret cannot let us sleep at night :)))

Hopefully we get an answer maybe someone knows it.

It would be awesome and helps us und many many many other collectors all around Europe to understand this

Bandai was the distributor and did not make the figures, Playmates still made the figures.

There is no secret, different colored weapons on later releases and variants happened even within the Ninja branding of the toyline. It was normal.

Here's a thread showing just a few Turtle figures that had various variants with different colored accessories.

As you can see, there were also Hero Turtles carded figures from Bandai produced with the US colored weapons. Have Tokka as well, have seen the Sports Turtles Bandai-Release no blue weapons.

So they took various Figures from the Hero line and gave then blue weapons ?

It has nothing to do with, maybe the blues are the first run in Europe ??

Maybe just a production error that was fixed later on? Was wäre denn deine favorisierte Theorie bzw. was würdest du am liebsten hören?
