Savage Dragon-Erik Larson

Just today I was looking through my comics, and I ran across my only issue of Savage Dragon. It was issue # 3, Savag Dragon Battles Bedrock. Almost halfway through it, pages 19 & 20, one of the first apperances of Spawn is there, Pretty cool, but that's not the point of this thread. On page 20 two kids rush Spawn talking about a "New-Super-Hero" and junk. One of the kids calls the other one 'Erik'. And that's probably a nod to himself, considering Larson was The Savage Dragon's Creator, Writer, Artist, and Inker... Pretty cool, or I'm just babbling, YOU DECIDE!

yeah there are 2 crossovers, but i still hate savage dragon, i coulda gottena leonardo jim lee figure, but they decided to have battle damaged savage dragon instead, plus his character is just stupid

Well as i stated like 50 times before i have no real intrest in image comics...

yeah and as i stated before, savage dragon suxxors
i mean some of those comics are really sick, but me and my friend bought one because it had a crossover with some other stupid image guy, and the ending was really funny, i think it went something like this
some lady in a room with some guy talking, they're talking about something behind the savage dragon's back, but they don't notice the video camera for a while and then, the lady notices half way into the sentance, and she was like:
I gotta CRAP!
she was gonna say i gotta go probably, but then she noticed the camera and that's what she said! LMAO

While reading SD you know that Erik's doing this comic not for the money, but because he loves the characters and wants to tell their stories. It's been well written and amazingly drawn (although some dispute that) for over a hundred issues.

eh i think they are crappy, and perverted.. and all i've heard of the tv show was taht it sucked... definately not as good as tmnt ever will be eh :wink:

seriously they have a lot of half naked drawn bimbos and such, and that's not why i read comics, i read comics for great story arcs

and that's about it.. there may be a few more
spider-man blue is really taking my heart for comics, sure it costs like $4 freakin bucks, but the story is soo good, i never thought i would like big league comics like marvel and dc until i got my hands on ultimate and blue spider-man

I can understand Spidey: Blue, and TMNT, but Amazing Spidey and Peter Parker: Spidey are better. And Black Cat & Spider-Man written by Kevin Smith is great too. Hell, Kevin smith is one of the funniest men alive, let alone the most creative. He revitalized Dare Devil. Indepth work.
