I'm just getting back into TMNT, which I was quite fond of as a teenager and am now in the process of rediscovering. I'm really surprised there isn't a stronger online TMNT fandom, though. Have I just not found the mainstream message boards yet, or are there almost no TMNT fans online?

Anyway, I've been working on some repaints and kitbashes lately, retooling the Playmates action figures to make them look more like their cartoon counterparts. For anyone who wants to see them, I have links to them here:

So far I've done repaints of Shredder, April, and a Foot Soldier, and kitbashed versions of Bebop and the Rat King. I'm planning on doing most of the mainstream characters eventually (I'm almost done with the four punk frogs, and I've got full kitbashes of Baxter Stockman and Leatherhead in the works as well as a cartoon outfit for Usagi Yojimbo).

Are there any other TMNT customs/kitbashes online? The only ones I've ever found are at the Virtual Ninja Turtle Museum.

Some feedback on my projects would really be appreciated.

Actually, there are lots of TMNT fans online, but most of them don't post on message boards. This forum is pretty new and I've been trying to promote it, so hopefully there should be more people posting here soon...

Haven't seen any, other than yours and the one you mentioned.

The weapons look great! The link for the repainted Shredder seems to be broken, so I couldn't see it.

don't worrie Krang this forum will take off...you just have to give it time. look how many Viewers there are on each subject....but how little amount of posts there are. I think alot of people think when they see the joining up/register thing will be a hassle. And if they are reading this i can tell them now it was extremely easy to register . I registerd about 5 minutes ago and have been replying since.

By the way zobovor i like your site and i think the stuff you are doing looks very cool

yeah ive really never found an active tmnt forums board, i guess tmnt fans like to be left to their own little society, and rarely do they break out into a community or something like that.

WOW! What AWESOME kitbatches! (or redos or hmm.. what yew call them)

I likes! I know you're annoyed by how they did Slash, but they are basing his action fig off the Archie Comics Version of him, so the changes, but you did a GREAT job refinishing him  There was someone who redid a Leo figure very nicely, but I can't seem to find the gnad page! Gah!!

One fig I'd LOVE to see redone is the Mona Lisa action fig.. I mean, even her hair is messed up

GREAT job on the remakes! wow!
