~Well, we've had a slight delay in the Judging Process on the Mutant Hybrid Art Contest. But that should get resolved this week. That was really fun -- and yet another HT-inspired bit of madness though she may not remember that she was the instigator of all that.
Otherwise I'm wrapping up "Sunni" and I think before the holidays the sequel to "Journey Home" will be launched.
There will be another contest pretty soon, but not til after the Fan Fic Awards. I'm getting *so* much help from people with doing that it's been absolutely awesome, but I don't wanna get over- commited. I don't know how Dawnatello did it all by herself in the previous years.

Actually, Azure, if I was gonna make Mango jam I'd add another fruit along with the Mangoes to give it a little more body, since Mangoes are mushy enough to begin with. Starfruit might be a good idea....nice and tart...yeah. Hrm. I may actually come up with a recipe here.... Make lovely Yule gifts; little jars of Mango/Starfruit Jam..... :D

I'm not good with culinary arts... That's why I tend to watch Iron Chef a lot. Seeing people cook like that always amazes me. Of course, I just end up a lot hungrier than usual, but hey, I may never get to see food like that in RL. :goofygri:

I took Spanish classes for three years in high school, and I still remember a few bits and pieces. I wish I could've continued learning more, but my college schedule won't allow it. :(

~I can understand a lot of written Spanish, but I speak very little. I had the Classic California Grade School education which entailed conversational Spanish, but I switched to French in High School. For a while there I spoke an incomprehensible mix of the two. The French won, and unless you want to talk about forgetting note books ("Caramba! Se me olvido (?) la cuaderno!") I'm really at a loss.... :P

~French used to be the "universal" language (back in ther olden days...) English is now (I'm still stunned by how well all the non-native English-speaking people I've met on line have mastered this impossible language.)
The other language I'd really like to learn and have stumbled through one class in is Japanese. Yes, that was originally TMNT -inspired, but it's a good language now for anyone wanting to do business internationally.

Japanese is another language I've always wanted to learn!! Traveling to Japan has been something I've wanted to do for a long time. My roommate took a class during the first quarter in college, and it looked very difficult. He struggled with it, but he did learn a lot.

I took two years of German in high school, and the only thing I remember are the numbers. Eins = 1, Zwei = 2, etc.

I know only limited German now. As for Spanish, Italian, Japanese -- too many languages for me! :)
