I loved the cartoon, and the comics, But the movies were so much more, i guess being young it was so much better! Im a big fan of Henson/puppetaring, so i love the movies to this day, And although they might not be the best of TMNT, they are by far top of the list for me!

I love the TMNT movies, I watched all three two weeks ago when I picked up the DVDs.
Funny thing happened a few days later. I was hanging out with a friend at a coffee shop, and some of her friends that I had never met came in. I was introduced as TMNT addict, and we all started quoting the first movie. I was surprised to find out that so many people remember and enjoy the first movie. We even decided to have a party where we are gonna sit down and watch the TMNT movies :)

For me, the first TMNT movie is my ultimate favourite piece of TMNT media. I could watch it again, and again, and again, and again...

i like the first movie, the last two just suck, the comics are cool, but the first movie combines the humor of the cartoon and the mature content of the comic, which makes it cool

I like all 3 movies, and the New Cartoon as well.
I never read much of Mirage or seen many Original Toon episodes so no comment about that yet.

I don't like comparing across mediums. Each element of the TMNT (the comics, the tv show, and the movies) is great in its own way. If all three of them were exactly the same, I think that would be a bit boring.

I really only liked the first one because of their realism(it's overly obvious I love this version of raphie) , and how close the stuck to the original Mirage style.
#2 was ok, it really sucked when Vanilla Ice appeared:roll:
#3 royally sucked becuase the Henson team did not do the costumes....

Agreed... that's what made #3 suck... Henson not being involved (Darnit... yah made the dogs for Snowdogs!!!)
I LOVE the first one... I feel it's my favorite comic book movie. The second I haven't seen in a long time, so I cannot judge. The 3rd one was okay.. but kinda cheesy, and Non-Henson costumes were a let down...

I love the TMNT movies! I think they might be my favorite, or at least second favorite. I know the first two movies like the back of my hand, and I kinda know #3.

So it is safe to say that almost all of the Fans out there are going to give props to the movies, even over the comics in some cases. In my case for example, I would much rather watch TMNT 1 or 2, all day every day, infact i did that one summer, out of work and nothing to do, so i watched TNMT"s and Lotr constantly, I garuntee i've watched either and both movies more than any of you!, and that isn't necissarily something to be proud of, But i am!
TMNT2 was my fav of the movies for a long time, after rewatching 1 again and again, i've realized i like them equaly, both have their moments and their downfalls, alot of my favorite parts in to movies are."when donnie or mikey is walking around the old farm house humming Ol' mcdonald" watch for it!, you'll see why i love it!, In the second movie" Donnie is drinking Alcohol, it's during the conversation between the turtles about how they took out the shedder in aprils apt. Right after they helpe keno" watch for this, april takes a pint bottle of a clear liquid and pours it in donnies COffe mug! after watching this, i drank liquor no other way!

Love the movies. The first one is easily the best. They just gotta more childish as they went on. I used to love the 3rd, but as I got older, I liked it less and less and loved the first one more and more.

The first movie will probably always be my favorite of the three, I have watched it alot. Ooze will always be my second favorite only for nostalgia purposes. The third..well I dunno about it. That's what I get for watching it so many years after it had come out. Had I watched it back in the day..who knows.
But I think I prefer the old cartoon as the best Turtle media so far. I'm bad, I haven't even gotten around to watching any of the new cartoon, Next Mutation...only read a scant few of the comics.

I like the sequel as much as I do the first one. I think if the sequel had been as "gritty" as the first it would be more accepted while think they are almost equal in comedy, some aspects of the sequel where over the top at times, and the lack of weapon based combat was annoying.
I really think the third film could have been the best of them, the concept was rock solid, no doubt!. the childish antics and script really brought this film down more then the costumes i feal :( and the ending was so lame and nonsensical :dead:

I loved all the films in order they came out, 1st one i liked the best, then the second and then the third. I thought the third was more comedy than the others, which could be a good or a bad thing :trazz:
