One of Shredder's funniest moments, in my opinion, came in the episode "The Turtle Terminator" from season three in 1989. Shredder is complaining about how the future ruler of the world is reduced to eating Chinese take-out. He's dining with Bebop, Rocksteady, and Irma, whom they've captured. It's funny because Shredder is eating, but his mask is still intact . . .

Is he just dropping the food behind the mask and catching it with his tongue? Is he eating off-camera, and then putting his mask back on before the camera cuts to him? Just the image of Shredder at the dinner table, chopsticks in hand, mask still in place, makes me just want to roll right off my couch. :lol:

It really makes you wonder about shredder... the only episode you see him eating is Cowabunga Shredhead and when he's eating in that ep he thinks he's mikey. I also love that scene in the Turtle Terminator. Irma is so damn stupid, and it's really funny watching her piss shredder off.

Shredder doesn't seem to know how to handle women when they are around him. Irma walks all over him (literally) in "The Turtle Terminator." Buffy performs an insult-dance around him in "Poor Little Rich Turtle." And Shredder gets his metal shins kicked in when he insults a mother's baby in "Four Turtles and a Baby."

The new TMNT episodes will air in february of 2003 if i'm not mistaken, and there will be new character designs, new music, new plot...well kinda...everything new! :D for more info you can go to www.tmnt.tv but make sure you have Flash installed or else you won't be able to watch all that flash tmnt-ish goodness.

person from the planet vegeta, a planet that exploded long time ago because some wacko threw a fireball at it (no it wasn't bin laden, he was called freezer [yes freezer...geez...freezer...] ) so anyways, it happens that vegeta was the home planet of the saiyans, and almost all of them died, except for those who were sent to the planet earth...oh they're also able to do some neat things, like turn into a giant monkey if they look at the moon (unless their tails have been cut off) and they can also become "Super saiyans" meaning they become stronger, blonde and with green eyes (Yes they are able to become hotter than shredder!Holy Cockroach!) so that'd be a saiyan...perhaps some of the info is wrong, i haven't seen dbz in a long time...

I see that Nicko did an excellent job of describing what a Saiyan is. Good job, dude. :D You're from Russia? We used to have a member named Deskjet Shredder who was also from Russia, and she was also a very big Shredder fan (hence the name ;) ). I haven't seen her around in a long time, though... So I don't know what happened to her. :(

I'm going to stay out of the argument on whether Shredder is sexy or not. :razz:

Comics? Oh no... they are so sad and cruel,aren't they? I heard that shredder would die in comics... And he has his older brother who will try to be with the wife of Hamato Yoshi... And Yoshi will kill him and then Shredder will kill Yoshi...
May be i'm wrong... i can't remember where i read this... But i hope they won't show it to the kids... it's too sad.

Look at these stories....I'm not a professional but as far as i got it.. there are three kinds of comics about TMNT. :evil: These stories are very sad and cruel. And i don't understand anything here. Will the plot of THESE comics be included in new episodes... I didn't know that Shredder had a daughter and etc... Does anyone understand what is going on?

Well, they what to try and include as much from the original Mirage timeline as possible. But that won't include Pimiko or Raph becoming Shredder or any other event from the Image timeline.

The Mirage comics were the original run of the comics. Those comics were never meant to be humorous. They had funny moments, but overall it was a very serious, sad, and violent story. They were never meant for children, they were meant for teens and adults.

I suggest the Archie series for younger kids, which was based on the cartoon show. The Archies have excellent stories and are targeted towards younger kids and are a lot more "fun".

Image is a whole other story. They bought rights from Mirage to do a TMNT series, which was unbelievably violent, especially towards our heros. Image takes place after the original Mirage story line (Volumes 1 & 2), but it's an alternative storyline.

:dead:Let's see... First he fought the Turtles in #1 and got himself killed. Then returned in #10 and explained his return to Leonardo in #21, before they fought to the death. And after that he never returned to the living.

And if you are upset of people dying and coming back to life you shouldn't read most X-Men comics... ;)

Well that's true. For small kids, definetly archie. I loved it whe i was 6 or 7.
Well For older pople the best choise is mirage. It has intresting storylines and nice art. As for image, I haven't read any, but from what i have read about it, It dosent seem intresting at all...

Every fan has to invent their own veiw of the Turtles' universe. The Shredder is alive if you think he is. His final destiny is not yet written.

As for the cartoon, I have no idea.

As far as Mirage is concerned, Shredder's dead. But that doesn't mean he won't be popping up in future TMNT projects (like the new cartoon) ;)
