That's so terrible. I hope this doesn't detract for poor Al's career. He's one of my favourite people. :(

Saw this earlier. They died of carbon monoxide poisoning from a fire place. Complete accident.

*lights a candle for the Yankovic family*

Heh... that really isn't appropriate, considering how they died.

-=Scratches head=- ....quite a shame, no? I hope Al's doing ok. I've been a fan of his since I was a kid.

i know this might be a bit inappropriate but: who is Al?"Weird" Al Yankovic is probably the most famous parodist in the music world! He takes classic songs and then changes the lyrics to hilarious craziness. The man is a genius and I was lucky to see him in concert at the Orange County Fair in July 2000. I also saw his parents on a VH-1 special and they looked like two very loving people. It's so sad to hear this news and I'll probably be in shock for a very long time. :(

I think Meeko meant it's sad when anyone good and caring dies...and that's happening far too often! Why can't bad people and criminals just drop dead? We don't need them! Yeah, I know, I'm a horrible person to say such a thing...

*falls down, spazzing and foaming at the mouth, screaming WTF?! repeatedly...and that's a 'why', not a 'what'* Knowing Al like I do and what brings him joy and happiness, I know that he will be able to bounce back from this horrible tragedy of losing his parents...I think (well hope, really) that I speak for all of us here when I say: "Al, if you see this in your random internet searches, please know that all of your fans are praying for and thinking of you and your family and friends at this incredibly tough time in your life. We all love you and hope that you will not lose your laughter in the face of this horrific accident. All the best Al!"

I agree with what mikey(likesit) says. I hope that Al can bounce back and I hope he realizes how much his fans support him.
