Ah, elementary, my dear GW. The test which you seek can be found at Vespera Blaze's website (http://www.angelfire.com/al4/vespera_blaze/index.html). It's under the Ninja Turtles fanfiction. ;)

Uh... I can't say "you're welcome" in Japanese, so I'll say it in Spanish. De nada. :D
09-20-2002, 12:08 AM
I think the japanese version is, " douitashimashite"...

*Wow someone actually understands me!!! :D))
Ah, Ohayou gozaimasu, Krang-san! :D
09-20-2002, 12:52 PM
Heh heh... Of course Krang would know how to speak Japanese. He's all brains. :D
09-20-2002, 01:17 PM
True fact, bad pun. :sweatdro:

Ogenki desu ka, Azure-san?
heheh , i've been getting into a little bit of Japanese since last year. I've actually got quite the list if anyone ever wants to see it. I've even found a site and took a few copies of the name Kanjis too... Its such beautiful writing. :D
09-20-2002, 01:26 PM
I agree, the Japanese have a beautiful way of writing. Now, if only I could understand it... :embarass:

This has names, virtues, tattoo designs, all SORTS of stuff!
09-20-2002, 01:35 PM
Oooh... I like the symbol for Dragon!! I wonder what Azure Turtle would look like in Japanese calligraphy. :)
This is the site I have bookmarked. It's designed for people looking for tattoo designs and probably isn't practical for really learning, but it's got tons of designs.
09-20-2002, 01:48 PM
Nice site! *bookmarks it*
09-20-2002, 04:27 PM
eheheh... reminds me of the time TinselCat (I believe) and I carried on a speal of japanese, leaving you guys confused. Saaaa....
And Tatsu also means Dragon in Japanese.
09-21-2002, 01:30 AM
Heh... You learn something new everyday! :anime: But I wonder why Tatsu still grunts so much...
09-21-2002, 05:50 PM

lol at that Mary Sue list guys, I needed some cheering up. I really liked those kanji links you put up, found it very interesting especially with names etc. I actually tried writing my name in Japanese myself and found I had gotten it right! Yay for me I guess.
Sorry for the short post, i thought I'd pop my head in and say hi since I've been lurking mostly here, sorry :trazz:
09-26-2002, 09:08 AM
Heh heh... Hi Amanda!! Glad to see you posting again! :D
Yeah, Vespera's Mary Sue/Gary Stu test is a lot of fun. Too bad my online persona failed it miserably. :embarass:
09-26-2002, 09:09 AM
Wheee!!! I passed the test with flying pizzas! :tanime: Heh, okay, so I'm nuts... Is that so wrong?
09-26-2002, 11:56 AM
~Yay! Congrats. Uh...what test?
If you mean the Mary Sue Litmus I am pleased to report I flunked with flying colors.
Hey, but I *knew* Lia was a thinly-disguised GW. I wrote that with conscious intent. In first person, even! And it only took a half an hour of rummaging through my closet to find my old 17-year old skin and slip it on.

I'm just glad Kameko's not a Mary Sue. I found, much to my dismay, that my main character in another fandom is very much a Mary Sue. I've got some work to do, toning her down. *sai* Oh, well, everyone has one sooner or later, I suppose.
Yes, that's very true. My very first fan-character, back in the Gargoyles fandom, was very Mary Sue-ish. Haven't put her through a test to see exactly how Mary Sure she was. I should take the time and check a few of my newer characters through the TMNT tester, to see how they do.

Hey, that reminds me! I have an idea for a Gargoyle character and story. The trick is making (finding?) the time to work on it... *sai* RL can really suck sometimes...
