We had a sunny day today *shock horror* Seems our summer has ended for sure this time. I was mild, but windy.

The weather here is fine, But As for the turtles out there, I doubt it wouldnt be a concern since the fact many are cold blooded. :)

~The weather? Funny you should ask. We've had unseasonably hot weather most of September. Today was the first slightly cloudy, cool and breezy day.
I love Fall.....can't wait for the leaves to turn.....I've got candles lit all over and Harvest decor up-- litttle pumpkins and acorns and dried grass arrangments.....
Pretty soon I'll start baking.
Then I'll start eating.
Then I'll have to lose all that damn weight all over again.....

Nah, its only a joke (I think...) I've been up here during the summer, and its absolutely GORGEOUS! Its almost perfect, if it werent for those random boughts of drought...Winter here is AWESOME...6 foot snowdrifts, and three feet or more All around! :D

I wish it would snow in CA. We had flakes of snow once over here when I was three or so, but not even enough to call it real snow. Anyway, it was a lovely 2000 degrees here all week until today. It was cloudy and gray today. Personally, I like Winter much better than Summer...and Mud. I practically live in the water when it's Summer, but in Winter I get to dress all warm and drink hot chocolate and attack unsuspecting puddles.

OOOH!!!! I love snow!!! we used to get tons around here but now its been getting less and less every year!! :x Last year a HUGE snow storm just missed us but I guess its sorta good considering all the people who die in those things :(

Happily up here in the Sierra Foothills we do get snow--generally after Christmas, and generally not more than a couple of feet-- but it is lovely and gives the kids at least a couple of "Snow Days" out of school each year. (Yeah, the roads can get bad, it's not *flat* up here!)
And I do love my 4-wheel dive Suburu wagon!

I like snow, but the only time I get to see it is if we drive up to the mountains. I think it's worth the drive, though. I've always enjoyed playing in the snow.

Unfortunately, I haven't been to the snow yet. Save for one time I drove up to Nevada and stopped to play. I really must go up there. My friends are kidnapping me for their ski trip next year. They can't wait to watch me fall on my face.

Yep! I do live south of SB. Except in the most boring place in the tiniest town. It's okay, but I'd rather be somewhere where stuff happens.

Lol! I imagine it's going to be something like trying to ice skating. Now there's a sight to cheer up the most depressed of souls. Lots of people skating on thin blades on slippery wet stuff and continually falling on their butts. And yet we still go back to the ice skating rink every year to make idiots out of ourselves. That is the best place to get a good laugh.

well, the thing is i really didn't want to offend anyone with the post, so i let it go. i mean i don't want to make a bad impression and i didn't want to mske you all mad at me. so like i said i didn't urge it forward.

if at anytime i do something that no one likes, let me know so i can rectify it at once.

I'll respond. Hmm..not quite sure how. Anyone who knows me, knows my favorite is Splinter, however I don't lust after him as some do *ahem* But my favorite turtle is Leo. I fell in love with him while reading a fic someone wrote and my husband regrets the day because I always ask him why he can't be that romantic. :D

The Journey Home and Lia's Story and Sunni were all written by GW and in my opinion three of the best fics on the net. Especially if you like Leo. But even if you don't. They're only on GW's site. Um...I'm not sure of the URL ---maybe www.behindthemasks.com????

Seriously, that was a running joke I had going with a couple of other fan fic writers-- that I was trying to make the entire world fall in love with Leo. There's a reason (tangential as it may have been) why I said that. :P

I was just doing my moderator job in keeping all topics in that area more or less on New TMNT stuffs. Cause maaan.. you give some of these gals a wee bit of free reign on a topic like that, and the posts will start multipling like bunny wabbits! *heh* :goofygri:

PS... Hope the folks down south survived Isadore. We even had a taste of it up in Indiana a couple weeks ago, with F3 size twisters and flooding. :dead:

an awful lot like those blue Jelly Belly jelly beans. what the hell flavor are they supposed to be? And blue Koolaid, what's that huh? I mean, the only name I've ever heard for that flavor is "BLUE" that's not a flavor, that's a kind of toilet bowl cleaner.

I'd complain about smurfs too, but I don't think there's anything subiminal about them.

it's not pretty.

why is blue a mood color? and why is it sad? and why do smurfs live under mushrooms and not leaves of grass? why *is* there no flavor for blue? Blue must an alternative color they use to make us think it's a flavor when they run out of the kool-aid mix. and why blueberries? Can't they be more orignal? And why slices of bread and not slabs?....okay, so that had nothing to do with blue, but still, why? Why everything?
