As I told Michaelangelo before in another thread I have to write a 30-page report on a pratical teaching training until Wednesday but instead of writing it I just try to forget it and do everything that does not remind of it. So it's already Saturday and I have written like four pages now.
You know this feeling when you just can't get yourself to work?

Sure do. I feel it everyday when I attempt to wake up...but then go back to sleep.

Sleeping! That's another great way to fool yourself!

I have to write a program in BASIC on my own, with no guidelines, for my final.

I dare say that my dice roller for D20 system games shall be it. Brilliantly simple, yet effective. To demonstrate it's all mighty power, I'll roll up characters for the TMNT RPG for each of my classmates.

EDIT: Yes, I know the TMNT RPG is NOT a D20 game ;).

Now, if only I had a calculator that could run BASIC programs, I'd never have the need for dice again.

I'm actually spinning a D20 on my desk at this very moment!

Jesus Christ, I'm on the boards for like 3 hours now just to escape from reality... :dead:

I'm actually spinning a D20 on my desk at this very moment! *runs the program, types in 20 for how many sides the die has, and 1 for how many times to roll it*

.

.
.
.

You rolled a D 20 1 time! You rolled a 1!
Would you like to roll again? (1 yes, 2 no):

A 1? :sweatdro: Chooses option 1) yes

You know this feeling when you just can't get yourself to work?

Happens all too often. Unfortunately, it always seems to coincide with an important deadline.

You know this feeling when you just can't get yourself to work?

I get that all the time. I'm a habitual procrastinator. Why do today, what can be put off til tomorrow?

Or next week or next month...
It's almost like a vicious circle except for the fact that it is NOT circle but has a nasty dead end. :x

I just have insomnia... :D

I talk online waaaaay too much. Plus, yeah, I've always been a night owl. Might be insomnia.

But once I'm online...

Ah the lovely art of procrastination!!! The secret to my success in school.

I know how you feel. One time I spend 12 hours in the computer lab writing a 20 page paper for Russian History.

And was awake for 48 hours completing my legal dissertation on Genetic Discrimination in Insurance Law while simultaneously studying for my exams in Children's Law, Advanced Legal Research, International Law and Mental Health Law.

I call my last day of law school the DAY FROM HELL!!! :o

Man I can relate. Although some days I can really kick myself into gear

And it's good that I can because at the moment I have 2 essays and an exam to revise for over the next 3 weeks (don't worry I've done some work... :| )

cqb101: That new sig image is stretching the tables a bit. Nothing bad, but I am having to scroll sideways. I'm on a 1024 x 768, and I loathe to think what 800 x 600ers are dealing with.
