TMNT/Captain Planet and the Planeteers crossover

Anyone? I used to watch this show every day as a child! One of my all time favourites (Along with shows like Widget and Inspector Gadget), I remember I used to want to wear all five magic rings on one hand, ah the memories. I used to have a whole heap of these episodes, think a few got recorded over though :cry: I was just watching one and I thought, why not a TMNT crossover with Captain Planet? The show plays off as follows;

Our world is in peril, Gaia, the spirit of the earth, can no longer stand the terrible destruction plaguing our planet, she sends five magic rings to five special young people:



Kwame: From Africa, with the power of Earth..



From North America, Wheeler, with the power of Fire



From the Soviet Union, Linka, with the Power of the Wind



From Asia, Gi, with the power of the Water



And from South America, Ma-Ti, with the power of Heart



When the five powers combine, they summon earth's greatest champion, CAPTAIN PLANET!

No offense Jarrah, but that is A, one of the dumbest ideas for a RP yet. Plus your set-up to the story is lame, its the intro for the old TV show.

The best RPs come off something original, and cross-overs have to be done with some sort of decent idea. Granted TMNT works in almost ANY universe and 90% of the people here just shove their own characters into the RPs and do nothing with the TMNT, .....BUT, you can't just do pointless cross-overs with no plot and expect it to be worth anything.

Wasn't trying to be a jerk Kenai, but Jarrah has started like a billion RPGs over here and I was just trying to give him some advice to make a much more worthwhile RP for himself and others. Its hard to have a lot of fun with no backstory and just throwing random characters together for a "Cross-over" doesn't make it any better. Some folks use a cross-over as a crutch for no plot or story, but the heart of a RPG is the story in which the characters take place.
