Body Art Rocks!

I love body art and feel like talking about it here. I include body paint, piercing, henna, tattooing, scarification, and most forms of body modification.

I personally have only done three of those (try to guess which ones.) What does everyone else think about this topic? Totally gross? The highest form of self-expression? What? What have you done/plan to do?

I'm just starting to draw tattoos, and I'm learning how to do henna. I have some college buds who are actually gonna pay me to do it! I'm so thrilled! $$ :grin:

More money for the ever-starving artist/college student. :smile:

Heh, I have to do henna one of these days. I usually stick to paint. I've done face painting before (like at school carnavals and stuff) but I have yet to get paid for it. Body artist is definitly on my list of potential career choices.

Now, to actually START college... I can't believe real life is inteferring with my real life!

Well, not now. See, another fan, GreenWillow, does tattoos, and she promised I could get one from her if I ever got around to getting to a convention or something.

So, where should I get it?

Me personally i hate piercing = as i have seen so many good looking girls destroy their face with ugly nose, chin and other werid stuff.

However i do have a tatoo of Kurt Cobain which i got done last year. If i found a picture of the Ratking i would get that done maximum

I am presently free of anthing artful, but graced with more scars than I care for. What can I say? I'm a clumsy tomboy.

So I bought a kit of henna ink! (Sill have to break it open and figure out how to use the stuff)

But Kali, if you want Greenwillow to do a tattoo for yah...
1. You HAVE to get a hotel room in the same hotel she is staying.
2. Make a definate schedule of WHEN you want to do it, that doesn;t conflict with anything else
3. Don't get lost from the group on the night you do want it done.

heheh... yeah, GW promised that she help me mess with the henna ink tattoos when I went to San D last year. But due to the chaos that pursued everywhere I went, that didn't happen. :sad:
