Love that Usagi vs. Groo. I'm surprised they never crossed over...not that it would make much sense!

Not officially, and not a whole story. There's an early Usagi story (I forget which) where Groo appears in one panel as Usagi is walking through a village and they eye each other suspiciously. That's probably been the closest heh.

Been wanting a Groo Usagi piece for a while, so this was ideal instead of getting Sergio and Stan to create one anew. Having it coloured by Tom Luth as well is the bonus on top.

I remember that cameo in an early Usagi comic. It was cool, as I loved both comics at the time. I remember meeting the 3 of them (sans Luth) at a con in the mid-90s. They were a hoot and got a kick out of signing my one issue of Groo with a double cover.

Anyway I think the piece is great as it's historic, and shows the artists' renditions from the 80s, early in their characters' existence. It would be cool to see a version of it today with their current styles.

I know I've seen a reasonably recent piece (last few years) of both together drawn by Sergio and Stan, but it's not on CAF. I'd have to dig a bit more there.

I like the picture you have of "Splinter chilling out." His dad of the year mug is very fitting considering today is Father's Day in US. Nice details with the vapors of the drink forming an 'S.' Cool stuff.
