Has Santolouco done any scripting since he co-wrote Secret History of the Foot Clan with Burnham? I'm curious to see what his writing's like as the full scripter.

IDW just killin it with the announcements lately. But I can't be satiated. I need more.

F#ck yeah! So I'm guessing it's something revolving around the Shredder and/or maybe the Foot Clan?

I wonder if it's something to do with the films... IDW mini-series doesn't necessarily mean it's tied into the main continuity.

Could be. Is that where that .gif of Shredder is from? I don't know what medium Santolouco was introduced to TMNT through, be it the original comics or the toon or the films. I do hope it's canon to IDW's comics though

That Shredder is from the first 90's live-action movie, if I'm not mistaken. So this is either a mini-series in the IDW continuity, or something related to those movies. I'm personally hoping for the former.

Are there people here who really didn't instantly recognize the picture there as Movie 1 Shredder? Really? We're on a hardcore TMNT forum. :lol:

In any case, this doesn't sound like it's part of IDW's continuity to me, unless the way he phrased it is off. Sounds like a new spinoff series?

I'd rather have more IDW TMNT, but I'd love to see what Mateus's take on the 1990 Turtles would look like.

Interesting, interesting indeed. The Square Enix method of announcing an announcement works quite well here.

I was thinking the same thing when I saw the picture of Shredder from the first film. It would most likely be centered around the first film.

I asked Mateus on Facebook if this is in IDW continuity and he confirmed it is!!

Shredder's time in Fuedal Japan as the Foot Clan's master pwrhaps? Therw is always The Pantheon's dragon father and hrlp furthering the ovwrall story as it climbs to #100.
