What do you think will be the season 5 finale?

We know that season 5 will have 7 arcs, but which one do you think will be the one to end the show?

I think it will be the second Nick/FW crossover because:

1. The 4kids show used it as a finale before so the Nick show will continue the tradition.
2. It was confirmed that the crossover arc will be a 3 parter in a video where the toys were being advertised so a 3 part finale makes sense.
3. I think having the crossover in the middle of the season seem too out of place and just a repeat of Transdimensional Turtles while having it as the ending of the show would feel different.

Otherwise, I could imagine the finale being the turtles meeting their future selves, but maybe that will happen in the crossover which will not only show the turtles travelling across dimensions, but also across time.

personally, i feel that the usagi arc as the season finale would be more fitting because of leo feeling temptation to stay in that world and being torn whether to go back or not while at the same time, it would test their unity as brothers and a team

I definetly think the Usagi arc is a possibility, but I'm leaning more towards the crossover. One reason is because they have avoided revealing much about it, being the only arc missing from the trailer while Usagi was shown. Even Robs tweet which confirmed it last year was deleted immediately. Nick Is definetly hiding something.

ToTheNines 03-11-2017 01:31 PM

We already know it's not the Usagi arc.

I think it will be the FW crossover, too.

Vicky82 03-11-2017 01:53 PM

I think it could be the 2nd crossover or an unknown story that haven't been revealed yet because I only count 6 arcs so far

1st - Kavaxas, this forgotten swordsman and Italian mafia is involved - 4 episodes
2nd - The turtles past story - 1 episode maybe
3rd - Monster Arc which includes time travel so a future story could be part of this arc - 3 episodes maybe
4th - Mona Lisa, Sal Commander, Bishop, Newtralizer all return in this arc. 3 episodes maybe
5th - Usagi and the turtles dressed in Samurai gear - 3 episodes
6th - 2nd crossover with the 80s toon.- 3 episodes
7th - ??? Verminator Rex and this Bodycount story could be involved - 3 episodes maybe.

CyberCubed 03-11-2017 01:56 PM

The last episode will probably be a single standalone story.

ToTheNines 03-11-2017 01:59 PM

@Vicky They confirmed the Usagi crossover to be 3 episodes.

I personally hope they incorporate this into the last episode: http://tmntentity.blogspot.com/2010/...eries.html?m=1

Especially this part of it:

Ok, I didn't hear that part. I know the 2nd crossover is 3 episodes which was mentioned in that toy fair video.

It would be cool if Usagi is involved in the Season 5 final, and cooler if it was a way to setup a spinoff series for Usagi Yojimbo.

ToTheNines 03-11-2017 02:44 PM

Sakai would never hand Usagi over to Nickelodeon. Nickelodeon would never want to deal with the creator of something not created under their roof. But one can dream.

Chris 03-11-2017 04:52 PM

I think it's between the crossover and the possible future arc.

That said there's still a chance the future stuff will be in the monsters arc so that would leave a mystery arc which could be just another story (leaving the crossover as the finale) or it could be a finale arc.

On the breakdown of the series - Since we know Kavaxas is 4 episodes and both Usagi & crossover are 3 episodes that leaves 10 episodes for remaining 4 arcs. So the breakdown is gonna be 3,3,3,1 or 4,3,2,1 or 3,3,2,2 (the last one seems most likely to me)

BubblyShell22 03-11-2017 04:53 PM

I think it could either be the crossover special or the future story which would actually be a fitting finale in my opinion.

Shark_Blade 03-11-2017 06:02 PM

I doubt Usagi would be the finale, more like the mid season episodes really.

CyberCubed 03-11-2017 06:39 PM

Why would they end the show with a crossover episode? Why wouldn't the end the show with an episode important to the Nick universe or wrap up its characters or story?

matteso586 03-11-2017 06:42 PM

The type of series finale that brings back nearly every recurring/minor character. Gravity Falls, Avatar: The Last Airbender, and Regular Show did the same thing.

The last scene of the finale being a full view of New York City.

April being last seen walking on the same sidewalk from the first episode. This time, no abduction.

And possibly a news report that ends with Carlos Chang O'Brian saying "hi-yah".

It was good enough for 4kids.

I don't get the obsession with this one.

7 arcs? So 20 episodes divided into 7 multi-parters? Are you saying these plots have already been revealed? Aside from the evil komdo dragon Kavaxas(sp?) voiced by Mark Hamill that Tiger Claw summons I didn't think anything had been leaked to the fans.

CyberCubed 03-11-2017 07:08 PM

Turtles Forever did in indeed end the universe with a crossover ep, but the last ep of the actual series was still based on April/Casey's wedding and the defeat of Cyber Shredder.

We literally just got a trailer for the Season 5 episodes a few days ago. Check the Season 5 thread.

Its way too long to try to follow threads of that nature. Trying to check each post as it continues to grow is too much something can be missed. I find it easier having individual threads. Otherwise I lose track. I found it thanks to the clarification.

Maybe it will end abruptly with the shocking truth of how the Turtles got their weapons?
