Anybody here collect prototyes? Share your pics here!

Hi All!! i'm new here and this is my first time posting.

Long time fan of the Turtles and have a few toys in my collection. Wondering if anybody here collects any prototypes for the toys?

Here's one that i have:

Sweet! I've been wondering this me question myself. I love to see the proto's like yours and get a little history on them! Thanks for posting, hope others reply!

Jester 05-30-2013 04:41 AM

Ohh....an unreleased proto at that. Very nice.

Since when was the 4kids series slated to air on Kids WB instead of 4kids?

That said, prototypes are considered upper-rung collectibles not being mass produced. They are generally too expensive for me to consider, though if I feel it and see potential, I may grab one or more.

The op's proto is SO rad. Playmates should have released that bad boy.

Since always...it was originally going to be on Kids WB but they changed it for some reason.

Theres more (I dont think my hotspot wax or my Scratch test shot are in those pics) but I'm lazy.

That piece in your collection is very pretty.

Also, welcome to the drome.

Yeah. I can't see them either.

Archon_Turtle 05-30-2013 02:15 PM

Oh. Lame. Fixed.

That thing is illllllllll. I guess Killer bee & his homeboy were gonna have a third bug mutant vehicle thingy. Supposed to be an ant, right? Pretty damn sick, never seen it before. Post some higher resolution photos on imgur or something!

Man....that's freaking amazing. I need to commission someone to make me one!!! Might you divulge what you paid? My current original figure line is missing only a few figures...my eyes are moving to prototypes.... My wife will love that!

I wonder...in Star Wars Droids series (failed animated series) there was also an Uncle Gundy...
