I've posted a few photos in the "New toys are in stores NOW!" thread. He's quite nice. His arms could be a bit better articulated though. His left arm is extended and only swivels at the shoulder, his right arm is bent at the elbow, and can be twisted in some uncomfortable looking ways. Head, waist, and wrists all swivel. I just discovered that he can do the splits as well.

His weapons are nice as well, I'm not sure how effective a double ended sword would be, but it looks wicked.

AAAAAHhhhhhhhh! :o

They're here in Indianapolis! Finally! :thyper:

I was poking aorund in the Target store (which is just five minutes from my house) and they had the 5" figures, the turtle shell, and the RP toys there. Woohoo! Unfortunately, it was just the turtles left. It's been hit by many other buyers too, I guess. I bought Donny for now... but will go back to get the other three. :D

Congratulations HT! So have you set up a little Donnie shrine yet? :P

Hi everybody. I'm new to the boards, but am a longt-time user on he-man.org (I go by Co-Lec-Tor over there).

I found all the new TMNT figures at Planet Comics in the Smithaven Mall today, I think they only got them in this week. I haven't seen anything at the TRU near the mall, or the KB toys in the mall. Maybe next time I'm there.

Oh, does anybody know how to make an avatar? I have a picture I'd like to use, but it's been a LONG time since I made my original avatar on he-man.org so I kinda forgot how exactly to go about doing it here- if it is even done the same way.

Thanks guys! :)

darthsmozers 01-10-2003 11:16 PM

Found all 4 turtles, splinter, shredder, and foot soldier at KB Toys at Fair Oaks Mall in Fairfax, Virginia.

Found Mike, Don, Foot soldiers, and Splinter, plus the van, at Target in Manassas, Virginia today.

PS: Wouldn't it have been neat for kids if the bubble was a bit lower on the card, so one could cut the faces out and make masks? hehe.

PWDESAI 01-10-2003 11:56 PM

well darth it's possible, if you heat up the edges of the plastic the glue will melt and u can slide the plastic right off, then clean up the card and then shnoink the clean face and make a mask! I"M GONNA DO IT!

darthsmozers 01-11-2003 12:05 AM

heh. seriously, if they did this theyd go well for little kids with the bo and sword thatll be out.

R-iZZy 01-11-2003 12:07 AM

so... which store is most likely to hold the figures?

darthsmozers 01-11-2003 12:09 AM

right now, seems to be KB, target, and Walmart.

R-iZZy 01-11-2003 12:21 AM

damn... there's no KB anymore in Gator Country, but there is a Target and a Wal-Mart. Okay, thanx. I'm definitely gonna start the search.

Hey! leonardo! :D Good so see a familiar face, or name to be technical. I wonder if any other he-man.org people are on this board? :-?
Actually, I was going to ask you if you posted on this board on that topic you were posting on today (the one with TMNT getting butts kicked).

Splinter is pretty cool, although I don't like him being grey all that much. I always pictured him as being brown/black in the old 80's comics. That & his legs are a pain in the butt. Playmates must not want any of their figures to sit down, 'cause the way their legs are set up it's almost impossible for them to sit on their rears. I'm wondering how they'll fit into the battle shell! :o

PWDESAI 01-11-2003 09:23 AM

lol :o

I think the battleshell is sorta like the old can where you can just pop your the legs in straight and it'll look like they're sitting. At least i think i saw the back area of the battle shell was similar to the old van. Everyone start trying toysrus they seem to be getting in a lot of tmnt. Otherwise Target then kbtoys are your best bets. Walmart seems to be slumping down...

darthsmozers 01-11-2003 10:25 AM

LOL Splinter's accessories are from the original, and the canister we've all seen before. But hey, if it aint broke, dont fix it right?

PWDESAI 01-11-2003 06:07 PM

no it aint, is it?

Reznorite420 01-11-2003 06:21 PM

My friend told me he found some at the one place I would least expect them to be...GAMESTOP.

Kali 01-11-2003 08:45 PM

Well, the 5" figures and 3" mini figures have been spotted at Rite Aid in San Jose. BUT they're selling for $8.00 each, $2 more than Target. Grrr... I didn't even notice until I saw the receit. But they only had Mike and Raph of the 5" and I didn't bother with the mini-figs.

R-iZZy 01-11-2003 09:07 PM

i like mini-figs more than the bigger figs... idk y, but itz just that size doesnt always matter. thatz what i keep trying to tell myself... :tlol:
