Interesting, considering who it comes from! There are those rumors about a DTV Batman-TMNT animated film, of course.

But I'm guessing it's just some drawings. Seems like there would be more of a tease like "BIG ANNOUNCEMENT COMING SOON!" if it were plans for an animated feture.

Couldn't it more of those summer shorts Nick did last year? They never finished airing all of them and this looks similar to those with all the different art styles

Really wish that wouldn't be just art and nothing more... Probably is, so I won't get my hopes up at all. But I have to say, if I was to hear it was a series (and one trying to be true to who the Turtles are), in that case I'd maybe have to fight back few tears.

I don't care for that art very much, the way the mouths are drawn and the faces, so I hope it's fanart.

Google images reverse search doesn't turn up anything. Doubt it's online elsewhere.

I wouldn't be surprised if this TMNT image was nothing at all and just simply used as a way to get people to flock to their panel. I hope it actually is something significant.

Cool artwork, somebody has put in a lot of work.

When you realize if only fans had any power in the hiring process. Just the kind of guy we need. And yet... nope. *sigh*


Nonetheless, great art, and would be awesome to have a show that looks a lot like that someday.

Just as I thought. I nailed it. It's too bad it's nothing more than fan art. Nice piece though.

I don't agree with their thinking but I guess this isn't the type of animation Nick are pushing for as it's not what their style is known for (outside a few examples like Avatar) primarily. I love this art but as TMNT isn't seen in the same light as Avatar Nick isn't going to give it that serious treatment as it's not what they're looking for.

Well Nick's preferences weren't exactly any part of my thinking, rather the kinds of visions the TMNT deserve more of. Hopefully someday...

From my point of view at least I'd find one of their TMNT properties watchable. :)

this would be ideal art for a new series if I am being honest. the new stuff ( Rise ) is just not my cup of tea. I mean I know this is geared towards younger demographic and to make money, but I would still love something more adult oriented. come on Netflix or someone similar, start this project

Fully agreed. Hoping it’s true, which I GUESS is possible since TMNT 2018 isn’t simply titled Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles like the prior series were?

It's not true. Just fan art. There was no TMNT reveal at the panel.
