UK Turtles fan here looking forward to exploring the board!

I registered five months ago but have only just had my account validated, so if other people did the same, this board is about to have a huge surge in population!

That happened with my account, although it was less than five months. I just started here as well.

yes, I was even asking Turtles fans on Twitter to ask the admin to verify me. Looks like someone finally checked the log :)

Our admin goes missing for months at a time, as you can guess. + the new member vetting process is more drawn out since we had a few banned people that wreaked havoc by creating dozens of new accounts.

Yeah, something may have to be figured out to admit new members faster. It even took me a few days to be admitted, so I know the long wait.
