Glad to hear that the release date will be before Christmas. I know one thing that I want!

ToTheNines 09-22-2017 06:04 PM

I see they're back to regular pricing. I'd like to know what the **** made them think the last 4 episode disc was worth as much as these twelve.

Storm Eagle 09-22-2017 07:01 PM

This might be my final DVD of the year.

Most likely because it had the 80's TMNT crossovers in it and they knew they could charge more because of that. Those 3 episodes (as well as Lone Rat and Cub) add up to nearly equal runtime as Turtles Forever does on DVD, so I can see why they did that.

ToTheNines 09-23-2017 02:51 PM

Well it cost them my business.

saber16 09-26-2017 03:10 AM

Not the biggest fan of the cover, sorry but the last two sets spoiled me rotten (I'd love to have a poster version of the "Wanted" case art). Im glad they're throwing the last three arcs into one package, but it would have been great to see them give each mini movie their own covers.

Here's more info on the DVD

http://nickalive.blogspot.co.uk/2017...f-teenage.html

It's 2 discs with the Apocalypse arc and the Monster arc on the 1st disc and When Worlds Collide and Usagi Arc are on the 2nd disc.

So Nickelodeon are still trying to make sure the Apocalypse arc is not the final by putting it on Disc 1.

Oh, I thought the disks were in order.
I wonder how long before we get ours.

I'm still a bit weirded out that this is called the "Final Chapters" when the last official episodes are part of that crossover.

Images of the DVD set are up on Toonzone again:

Ok, I'm confused. Lone Rat and Cubs was on the dvd with the Usagi arc, AND on the R&B Wanted one, right? Is the crossover arc on the new one as well? I don't want to have to buy three different dvds with the same eps on them.

"Lone Rat and Cubs" isn't on the Final Chapters DVD.

At least, on Tuesday the series will definately be over, officially accessable to everyone (which practical has already happened).

The Usagi arc hasn't been released in the US yet (until this coming Tuesday). So I'm guessing that release is in another country? The only DVD release that "Lone Rat and Cubs" is on is the BnR one.

All of the other volumes had some artwork on the inside cover. This one's inside cover is blank.

saintsaucey 12-18-2017 08:54 AM

So did they not release episodes 16 and 17 at all?

I have scroll of the demodragon
The forgotten swordsman
Heart of evil
and end times
On the second disk of the super shredder set

When worlds collide 1 and 2
And the yojimbo arc on the second disc in the final chapters set

Lone ray and cubs on the wanted bebop and rocksteady dvd
The monster arc on the first disk of the final chapters set
Wanted bebop and rocksteady on the DVD of the same name and the mutant apocalypse series on the final chapters dvd.

No sign of the foot walks again or the big blow out. Never mind the foot walks again and the big blow out are part of the bebop and rockstar movie they the made into a feature length episode.

Original TMNT Cartoon Fan 12-18-2017 10:03 AM

I think everything has been released now.

This sounds more confusing than collecting season 4 of the 2003 show on DVD

CyberCubed 12-18-2017 11:35 AM

Every single ep of the Nick cartoon is on DVD.
