Yep, guys, I could definitely see Leo going into revenge mode, and that'll be sweet for sure. He definitely will have bruises on him from the beatdown though I'm not sure how long they'll last. That's the part that's interesting me the most.
|
I wouldn't mind Leo going into some kind of depressive or maybe even violent state, it would definetely make for some interesting development. I just hope it won't last too long. I heard in the 2003 series it took a really long time for him to get over it.

If they do this with lil' Nick Leo I hope it is only for a very few episodes, sad to see him go through that in any version, but afraid it will be sadder with this one given that he's "younger" in tone than 2003.:ohwell: If they stretch it out just as long the show just better not take a long hiatus in the middle... |

Yeah, that's my guess, too. I don't think it'll last too long, but that's not to say he still won't have scars from it. I just can't wait to see how it all plays out.

Greg Cipes is ADORABLE. I want to keep him in my pocket or something, I love him that much.

Isn't there a longer interview with Ciro by someone else where he says he was disappointed in everything after the Mirage comics aside from "maybe" the first movie?
|
maybe im projecting (heh) or just reading too much into it, but i thought it was funny that ciro, kinda insinuated that cipes was a fan of "catnip".
again...maybe it's just me, but i can totally see that, ha! 8) |

I've seen other interviews where he's asked about what he thinks of how the show turned out and he grunts saying that "you have to get used to things not turning out the way you want". I kind of get the vibe that he's the kind of guy who will never quite be pleased. |
Well, to be fair, no Mirage fan will ever be pleased, be it as one who merely observes the new era, or as one of its creators. Playmates & the other powers that be just won't have it.

Well, Viacom of course owns the property, & Nick is the brand behind it, but I am absolutely certain that there is some sort of deal in place that gives Playmates influence in the shows design. I think there's a quota for mutant characters, variants, & funky vehicles. I know that was the case with last 2 cartoons, so I don't see why it would be any different now. At the end of the day, the big wigs (not Ciro & the gang, but the suits above them) just wanna make dough, & the main way for them to do that, is selling toys. So Playmates makes the show include the items they want to sell, or rather, has the animators design things in-series for Playmates to later to produce. This is just my guess, mind you, but it's based on events of the past...
