This is a game changer, if true.

I always found it so weird how this guy was Palpatine-level secret. Like 1 or 2 photos of him are available.

And in 1 of the 2 he is standing next to Trump. lol...

I wonder how this would affect things, if true.

For instance, what would happen with the Netflix shows? Or the ABC shows?

Also, how did Jessica Jones even get a TV show? Ike doesn't believe female leads are bankable AND he was the one in charge of TV...

They needed a token female for the Defenders.

They did minimize her powers from the comics. That might have been a Perlmutter decree.

Yeah, but she actually got THIRTEEN HOURS of television.

Her own show. Where the main topics were all arguably targeted at women... abortion, rape, trauma, PTSD, victimhood, overcoming victimhood, et al.

And all of the main characters were female, except for Malcolm and Simpson. (And, of course, the villain.) And nobody stood against Kilgrave in the end except a pair of sisters.

There's no way Ike was responsible for Jessica Jones. The questions are "Who was responsible?" and "How did they get this past the old sexist white guy?"

That's not exclusive to Jessica, though. Iron Fist's powers were minimized as was Daredevil's (to a lesser extent). The only Defender who HAS been at full strength is Luke Cage.

The spin I saw on Newsarama is that while he lost the title of CEO, he lost none of the powers that come with that position. His role was re purposed as Chairman.
