Toon Turtles
The sculpts of the Toon Turtles figures from 1992 were not 100% toon accurate, specifically the facial expressions and a few other small things, but these figures still remind me of the cartoon in some way, more of a stereotypical and over exaggerated happy versions of the turtles. They were originally painted in classic Playmates colors with glitter, but I was curious to see how these would look in toon accurate colors. No physical modifications made, just a simple repaint of the 4 figures and their signature weapons, attempting to match the turtles' colors used in the actual 1987 cartoon. All the "wacky toon" features still work. More pics can be seen on Flickr.

Always love your work.
I've never been much of a fan of these figures but they certainly look better thanks to your paintjob. |

Nice! Look much better in matte with proper colors. Also amazing how different the filled tooth gaps make them look.
