Okami HD coming to PC/Xbox One/PS4

The game will be released digitally and physically (on PS4 and Xbox One) for $19.99.
In Okami, players take on the role of Japanese sun goddess Amaterasu, a wolf-like deity who sets off on an adventure to restore a world decimated by evil to its original glory. The game explores Japanese folklore and features a visual style based on sumi-e ink painting.
The original Okami was developed for PlayStation 2. It was later brought to Wii and PlayStation 3 (also under the name Okami HD), courtesy of developers Ready At Dawn and HexaDrive. Okami was the penultimate release for Clover Studio before it was dissolved by Capcom in 2007. Okami director Hideki Kamiya and producer Atushi Inaba later went on to work at PlatinumGames.

Never got to play this on the Wii, seems like it would've been a lot of fun with the wii remote. I remember not getting it because I was mad they had gotten rid off the awesome paper filter.

I have the PS2 version of the game. I don't ever regret buying it because the game graphics are so damn awesome.
Even the landscape locations are beautiful (once they are restored to normal.) Okay, no more spoilers.

Maybe the game developers from both Okami and Okamiden will reunite to produce another Okami game someday.

Guess we'll have to wait and see how well the HD version of the game sells.

Fantastic game, and I can finally play it in HD, Highly recommend this to anyone that likes zelda and studio Ghibli

It was fun on the wii, but you could literally only play with one of the weapon types best with the wii mote (the whip)

Game came out the same year Zelda Twilight Princess did back in 2006, and I remember all the Okami Vs. Zelda wars back in 2006, especially since Link became a wolf in that game too. :lol:

I've always wanted to play this game. So I might take this opportunity.

It's a great game. Long too. And if you like Japanese mythology or are an anime fan it is good too.

Maybe I will buy it now, since Injustice 2 costs much more than I have expected.
