How old was Corey Feldman when he voiced Donatello in TMNT 1990?

I watched his other 80's movies and he was just a kid, how old was he in 1990?

He was 19. Apparently. Which means he was barely 18 when they actually shot the movie in 1989. As a kid I assumed he was like mid-20s by that point.

Huh.

Huh.

I thought so too, so that's pretty interesting.

But this really didn't need to be a thread. 2 minutes on Wikipedia or IMDB would've given you his age & spare time to do the math.

By the time he made The Burbs (1989), he looked like an adult.

He was exactly 18 years, 5 months and 15 days old on january 1 1990. Why make a thread about this? It was so easy to find out.

Posts like these are exactly the reason he made the thread.

The bit where they try to convince Uncle Klopek to calm down after he sees them all sitting on top of the car is hilarious.

That moment is a nice little bit of foreshadowing. "The pizza dude is coming!" Great movie! Unfortunately, The Burbs and the first TMNT film were Corey's last two big hurrahs.

I did wonder how this thread could keep getting comments but then of course, conversation shifts to Corey in general. I watched the Burbs so many so many times years back.

Great movie. Corey Feldman is the man, he'll always be Donatello's voice for me.

I guess Corey Feldman was an actor who peaked early in his career? What big roles has he he played since TMNT?

An episode of Sliders? Nope, got nothing. :D

You guys haven't seen "Tales From The Crypt Presents: Bordello Of Blood"?

Jesus Christ, at least 80% of you people been livin' wrong, for just a whole lotta reasons.

Chet 03-24-2019 02:44 AM

I loved his voice as Donnie in the first movie, and Raph's voice too!

Considering what I have read about the film you might as well recommend the film Busted.

Sooo... you're one of those "I let other people tell me how to think" types, eh? Interesting.

Might try giving it a watch and decide for yourself. It's not Shakespeare, but how many horror/comedies actually get GOOD reviews? C'mon guy. Use your noodle.

If a person says "I don't care about Dennis Miller fighting vampires", that person is definitely someone I do not care to know.

DENNIS MILLER. VAMPIRES. COREY FELDMAN.

The only way that movie gets better is if it comes with a free Handy-J.

I have seen clips before, it looks okay. Interesting you should mention Dennis Miller as from what I read he was very difficult to work with. Also I don't normally go by reviews (probably why my views on movies are so different to the majorities) but I haven't read good reviews even for the blu-ray. This reviewer really seems to hate the movie. It makes for an amazing read:

Ouch. :o

But it doesn't mean I won't watch it one day. Maybe when it gets a UK release. :)

Leo656 03-29-2019 09:47 PM

Things which have Dennis Miller in them are automatically 80% better than things which do not.

Ditto Norm MacDonald. Not relevant to anything, I just REALLY love that guy.

I mean he voice acts, nothing wrong with that. Seems to be living pretty comfortably too.
