Whatthe...

Has anyone seen these before?

If you look closley, the card is different and there appears to be some sort of holographic sticker included. According to the seller it also has an electronic sound component.

Any clues?

JaffleMan 03-24-2004 05:41 PM

Seen ones similar in the Ballarat Markets in Victora, their bootlegs. Don't know about the holo sticker and electonics though.

They've popped up on Aus ebay before.

My one at home has Lifeguard on his chest but this one has no LG symbol, could have worn off but the figure seems to be in great condition asides the broken seaweed on his foot so i don't know.

It's not different, the little sticker just fell off.

I didn't know there was a truck for every turtle. If I did, I would have started buying these...

Wow, I didnt know that about the trucks either...gonna have to start lookin for them again...was hard enough to find Raph since there are soo many of those monster series trucks to look through..oh well...happy hunting!

I was browsing around ebay again, and I had a Foot Tech on my watch list. I just found out the damn thing was sold for $53!!! WHAT IN GOD'S NAME IS GOING ON AROUND HERE!? Funny thing is, another one was sold not long after for just $21. But still, that's a lot for a figure that is only a year old. I mean, I don't even see the rarest Mattel Batman fig go for that much. I had one MOC, and opened it. Now I'm going to puke...

Custom April for sale.

holygrail_4 05-23-2004 09:05 PM

Woah - is this really worth that sort of money??? I don't think even mint original Turtles are that expensive...

Zachatello00 05-23-2004 09:11 PM

i never figured out why, but the answer is yes. I don't think Scratch was ever in the toon, I think he was a playmates created character. I've seen him go for more than that before. I saw one loose with no accesories go for almost $40.00. Way too much for me for a turtle who wasn't even in the show. He did appear in TMNT 3, The Radical Rescue for Gameboy as the boss of the first level.

E-money 05-24-2004 01:28 PM

I think Scratch was also included in the 2nd or 3rd TMNT Gameboy game. Not 100% sure though.

Oh duh, you just wrote that, HAR HAR (edit)

Zachatello00 05-24-2004 02:43 PM

heh heh, been there. Don't sweat it my friend. What's really annoying is when someone tells you "someone said that about 15 pages ago. How do they remember that?

Orochi Chimera 06-12-2004 10:40 AM

That price is just ridiculous.

OA 06-17-2004 11:06 AM

Even though it's rare that's still way too much money for it.

BigApple3AM 06-20-2004 08:15 PM

hey, could you guys keep an eye out for loose movie star turtles that are complete, or moc ones that aren't going for too much? I just found all of mine and they're like mix-n-match, and they're all missing at least 1 limb and are broken n' stuff. Thanks guys!
