Questions you have trouble answering

Asides the obvious ones such as "what is your biggest flaw?", "what makes you happy?" and "where do you see yourself in 5-10 years?" do you have any questions that you have a difficult time answering? I have two, in particular:

1) "What is your favourite Iron Maiden song?"

There's NEVER a definite answer for this. They have so many great songs that I can't just pick one. Usually I'll have a favourite song or two from a certain band that stands out above every other, but in Iron Maiden's case it's really difficult.

2) "Super Mario Bros. 3 or Super Mario World?"

Yeah I refuse to break my head thinking of an answer for this one. World feels like an epic adventure but then again, SMB3 was massive for its time and it's also more challenging than World. Hell, I'm yet to beat SMB3. World 8 always kicks my ass.

So what about you?

Any question that relates to something that whoever is asking has no business knowing the answer to... vague enough?

"What's your favorite band?"

I only listen to scores and classical. Hard to answer while not looking like some kind of idiot.

I listen to a lot of musical theatre so I run into the same problem.

Tbh, I dunno what I'd answer to that nowadays either. Until 2012 or so I'd have said "Iron Maiden" but nowadays? It depends on my mood, I guess.

Oh and there's no way I can pick a definite favourite song of all time either. Although Down in a Hole by Alice in Chains is a great candidate.

Anything involving History or Geography.

Who shot Nice Guy Eddie?

Favourite Victor Hugo novel.

I think Les Miserables has the best story but the others have so many amazing characters, Quasimodo, Frollo, Ursus, Gwynplaine.

Why are so many people born with disabilities they never asked for? Bums me out, sometimes.

Similar, "What's your favorite kind of music?"

No real answer for that... just a mix of stuff? If I like it, I like it. I don't pay that much attention to what kind of music it is or who its by. It would be more effective to ask what I don't like.

"Why are you so quiet?"
Hate this stupid question l. What kind of answer do they hope to receive? It's just the way I am, no need to question me about it. :tgrumble:

Because only a fool talks when he has nothing to say. That's my favorite answer.

Lol, you've mentioned that before I think. Definitely not easy to wrap your head around.

Oh I'm sure I have!
At least half a dozen people have tried to explain it to me, and I'll glom onto it for maybe a second, but then I blink and it's gone.

It's clearly forbidden-to-me knowledge.

I've already considered question #2 in the past, and it's Super Mario World all the way...

CyberCubed 03-30-2017 12:11 PM

"Do you believe in Lord Jesus Christ?"

I say, "No."

...then you don't have trouble answering it.
