Issue #1 Cover Pose
Took this picture today, but forget to include the comic-con IDW/Playmates minicomic.
http://i727.photobucket.com/albums/w...ig-5/1pose.jpg Am I forgetting any version of this? I know there's also the 2009 color reprint, but it's almost identical to the City at War cover. |
Holy hell I love that new poster.

this one is inspired by it maybe

Damn, I forgot about the Image TPB. Near impossible to find, and even then... say good bye to about 100 bucks.
|
Is that going to be the cover of issue one for the Nickolodeon comic?

However, that image is just a poster I ordered online that you could pick up at comic-con. Check ebay if you'd like one! |

Ah, screw that. I'm hanging by a thread when it comes to the regular comics. If so, I'll most likely buy the first issue, then stop. But I am going to keep buying the Color Classics.
|
Issue #50 and the Comic-Con poster are probably my favourite renditions of the original pose.
|
while i love the pose, issue's #1 & 50 are by far the best...followed by this one :D

I must own that new Nick poster :) I hope they start showing up at the usual poster sections of my favorite stores soon

It's not a comic-book cover, but the Mirage Turtles also assume the poses at the end of Turtles Forever, which I think is the only instance of it in other media.
The 2009 color reprint has an entirely recolored version of the "City at War" cover. And, while I don't own it, doesn't the IDW "Color Classics" version feature a newly colored version of the #1 cover? Also, using it in promotions for the Nick cartoon is totally rad. Really unexpected. |
It's being used in the intro to the Nick series.
|
Awesome! I love these poses, but does anyone know what Raph is doing with his left leg? It doesn't seem to fit anywhere on some of the covers...
|
Cool pic! Love it

Don't forget my personal favorite, the cover to the fan version of TMNT #1...
