Not so much a "steal", but more a good bargain:
The pictured technodrome looks like its missing a few pieces but the actual technodrome shipped with all of them except for firing platform and Krang's escape hatch.

EDIT: Just noticed this thread doesn't require steals to be from ebay... So I'll mention finding 11" Krang's Android Body at a video store a few months ago for $5 with the radar antanna on top firmly attached... unfortunately missing the brain itself, but still a great deal (i think.)

Here's my recent "steal" that I'm quite happy with, although not a toy exactly:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=190143146515

It's hard to tell because of the unmatching background it's pictured with in the auction, but it's from the very first episode of the original cartoon. 8)

I stopped watching the show by then. Alias really went down hill after season 3.

Sorry dude. *comfort*
I know how you feel. You search my name and you get a damn golf course in Texas...TEXAS!

You could always change your name or go by a stage name, but I wouldn't if I were you. Vaughn Michael sounds really cool.

Question. Why is Venus wearing shorts?

I wanted a GameBoy for years and years and years it seemed. I think I was in at least seventh grade when I finally got one for Christmas (1991). It was still the big grey brick - not too long before they came out with the colored bricks. But it was a REALLY big purchase for my parents to make, so I had to settle for used games with it. I got both the TMNT 1 & 2 GB games, but of course they had no box. So I'm really happy with this particular purchase. :)

Very good deal. Fall of the Foot Clan was $14.99 used at Funcoland when I got it.

Comix Wave #10 - If I am not mistaken, this was the very first collaboration between Peter & Kevin, from 1982. If not the very first, then it sure is dang early. Plus, Kevin does a story with Clay Geerdes who was the man and still is one of my heroes. If you don't know who he was, for shame! I was hella surprised I got it so cheap, let's just say my maximum bid would frighten most people. I REALLY wanted this.

Bad Girl Art #2 - WARNING - Not exactly kid tested or mother approved! Another piece of great early Eastman work from his naughty years. I wouldn't exactly call this one a steal at the price I had to pay, but I noticed I was up against Roseangelo, so I had stiff competition from another rabid fan.

EDIT - I only realized after posting that this is in the Toys/Collectibles section and really isn't intended for comic "steals"... so my apologies. I suppose we should have a "Recent Steals" thread in the Comics Discussion too. Then there will be much bragging & rejoicing for all!

MrPliggins 11-05-2007 08:38 PM

cool dude! I meant to bid on those....but I had to work overtime tonight and just got home.

Roseangelo 11-05-2007 08:40 PM

Dude, $33 for a mini-comic is hardly a "steal."
