The FCC promises to repeal the Net Neutrality Act.
What are your thoughts on this?
|
Pretty f#cking bad
|
Yeah, this is bad. Very very bad.
|
So here's my question...do they want violent revolution against them or will they be caught completely off-guard when/if that happens?
What will it take for Net Neutrality to be restored - because eventually, it will have to be. Or so I hope. |
<Archer> Do you want a violent peasant uprising? Because this is how you get a violent peasant uprising.</Archer>

The people are the ants!
|
So...here's a question...
How on earth are they going to get this done when they pass it? How long will it take to organize? Will it even work like they think it will? In regards to the actual bill that's being voted on...this is it. Yes it is about "preventing" sex trafficking. Yes, it's really, really dumb. |

Naturally it used primarily against political opponents of the regime. |

*shrug* Someone will bring a lawsuit about this fairly quickly and it’ll be a supreme court issue. |
There will be a revoluiton against the US goverment or any other goverment the minute that something llike pass. Millions of people will be on the streets demadning it to be deleted. Goverment will be down in at least days if not hours after this pass if it pass. It like suicade. It like they want the whole americans against their goverment.

People who benefit from it are now trying to censor protests. It's so bad that Tumblr will delete tags and posts related to net neutrality.

EDIT Actually it could... |

Basically, they still have to go through legal courts to actually get the repeal passed. And when they do that, Pai has to bring recent evidence that it's necessary, for which he has very little.
I provided three articles to describe that exactly. |

Vote delayed (maybe?) because of possibly FAKE comments from FAKE accounts. |

Net Nutrality is dead. It goes to court next Lets hope the FCC Gets sued by ACLU and other places |
It has to go to court first.
Where it will inevitably be struck down because support of Net Neutrality is bipartisan. The vote may have gone like they wanted, but they have a very long way to go before they can try anything. |
