Series 13 will be Jodie's last as The Doctor, and she will have at least two specials in 2022 before regenerating.

She's also been left off of the cover of this year's annual

Jodie's replacement potentially Ollie Alexander. If true, that would make him the first openly gay actor to play The Doctor

I liked him well enough in "It's A Sin" so I'm OK with this.

glad they might be going back to a male doctor. BBC got their female doctor out of their system and it was a spectacular failure. Now back to basics

Ollie's management deny the rumours

Is that due to the stupid plot, too much agenda, not enough agenda or the fact that, from what I understood female Doctor was kicked out?

ZariusTwo 07-25-2021 11:57 AM

Series 13 is one long continuous story and Jacob Anderson (Game of Thrones) recurrs as Vin Dar

Jodie and Chibnall are out. Series 13 will only be six episodes, and there will be only three specials in 2022

Yeah. I mean, there was definite lack of quality in the writing up to that point, but I was going with the flow. But he kinda lost me with the timeless child thing. I was excited for Ruth to be a parallel Doctor or something. Not what she ended up being. :ohwell:

Big Finish have announced more 'lost stories' from series 12...but much as in the same mould as the recent 'Return of the Cybermen' these are stories that eventually did make it to television after a polish and a rewrite.

The original drafts of what became The Ark In Space and Genesis of the Daleks are being adapted, going by their original titles of "The Ark" and "Daleks-The Genesis of Terror"

Babylon 5 crossover? Or does he not own the rights to that?.. He probably doesn't, it's most likely WB but you never know, I'm just too lazy to check the copyright credit.
